It's not facts that Duran is better than Pacquaio clear opinion. Your tend to clear forget he got better in the rematch while Duran quite. Thats facts. What you said is opinion so there's that.
The Duran that beat Leonard is better than the Pacquiao Mayweather fought.
We want to pick and choose what version we get. Pacquaio could be considered a better fighter its not fact Duran better.

NO very good not great at welter. If Floyd quit he would be mocked by every one who debates this argument. But becuase its Duran its ok.

Boxing Historians almost always list Duran in the top 10. Pacquiao, not so much. And since we're playing the "best weight" game, 147 was not Pacquiao's best weight.

Back to my original point. Another poster said weight doesn't matter. Now we have you here proven my point. Weight always matter there always someone bringing up weight. Yeah 147 wasn't Floyd, Pacquaio or Duran best weight, According to other poster weight doesn't matter.

If weight doesn't matter, Duran is still better than Pacquiao.

This right here. Duran like FLoyd are ATG but neither are top ten all time fighters and Duran isn't top ten welterweight. Tito Trindad, Oscar De la Hoya can make a claim to top ten welterweights just as much as Duran.

Duran is still good enough to beat Floyd at any weight he can make.

And Floyd could lose to lesser fighters like Castillo and Maidana and still have the judges bail him out.

I did have Floyd losing to Castillo, but no way did he lose to Maidana. That was a 115-113/116-112 fight that got a bit overblown because it was much closer than expected and also because Maidana could've legit had the lead after 6, but Floyd took over and won close but clear. Still neither of these guys are near Duran's level and greatness really isnt so much about a loss here or there anyway.....if it is then Wangheng is the goat :yay:

I actually did thought he lost to Maidana. Even if he did lose those fights still didn't quit. Dismiss bad losses crazy, Floyd lose to lesser guys and quit it would be a different story the hate and double standard is real. Floyd is as great as Duran and never quit.

Duran also fought the arguably the best welter ever (Leonard), the best 154lber ever (Hearns), and arguable the best middleweight ever, (Hagler). They all were in their primes.

I'm aware of the detached retina and take it into account, however 11 years is 11 years, it's an enormous amount of time off.
Floyd took off 6 years total without an injury.
Not in a row.

Prime Mosley would have slaughtered Mayweather. But I can't see any version of ODLH beating Floyd.
Prime Mosley is an admitted PED user so is this really a fair comparison? Dude was on EPO among other poo.
With Floyd also being a ped user I cant see how it is in any way unfair. Prime Shane Mosley was also a lightweight fighter who fought prior to the admitted 2003 steroid use.

What proof do you have? Like irrefutable proof not BS Internet theory? Im not into accusing dudes who have not failed a test or admited to PED use. Shane straight up admitted to PED use. Im not guessing or just throwing shit around.

Also it already been proven shane was lying about taking the stuff without knowing, why would i believe him when he says he only used it for the one fight?

Him and Margacheeto are proven cheaters so idk why people always try and argue them over floyd. One is juiced to the gills and the other loads his hand raps. Both are criminals and shouldnt be in arguments with the greats.

I think we need to accept that the use of PEDs is rife in boxing, as it is in all sports where athletic performance is key - to believe otherwise, is extremely naive.

As a Boxer myself i refuse to believe that I essentially have no choice and have to juice to make it to the highest level. Im personally close with a couple high level guys (between Muay Thai and Boxing) and while I obviously cant prove 1000% I would bet anything I have all of them are clean. Perfect example is Simon Marcus. Close family friend, built like superman but doesnt even take legal supplements.

I think a lot of regular people who dont compete just cant fathom that some people can achieve that level of performance through hardwork and dedication.

Not everybody is a cheater and to say that they are is bullshit and is just something that is said by PED users and fans of PED users who want to excuse the behavior.

Thank you. Internet just assumes everyone cheats and that's not true. Are there cheaters no doubt but its not everyone who's
