I think it might be an economic necessity to put fights on PPV just so the 300k fans can generate some revenue for purses
Those 300k fans that are watching on ESPN without paying a penny, what makes you think they’re gonna pay for the fight? The same 300k will not ‘buy’ this fight.

It would be a very very small percentage of that.

I assuming he's referring to the bigger name fights being on ppv not the level cards now.

Probably. Well, Whyte-Povetkin is..

Arum was saying they need to ease in PPV back slowly, probably at a lower price.

A lot of people have lost a lot over these past few months.

He was also saying, boxers should take less guarantees and base more of their purses on gate/PPV revenue. I agree with that. A lot of these boxers are being paid way more than they’re worth.

Stick them on PPV, give them a small guarantee and the rest of their purse based on revenue %’s..

If they’re as good as they say or have a big following, we’ll see that in the PPV buys.

Would you pay 20 dollars to watch something like charlo vs derevyanchenko and the other charlo v harrison 3? Fights like that arent usually ppv worthy but may need to be

Of course nobody is paying money to watch takam fight that is absurd

Does this 300,000 viewers number take into account digital viewers? If it does not, then it means nothing.
