Inferior fighters who stand in front of him get knocked out, folk who get on their bike can go 3 like Hughie Fury.

Tyson Fury is a foot taller than Mike, he'd need those long limbs to run away and tie up for sure to see the the 4th.

Interesting one as Berwick, Spinks, Williams and Tubbs didn't go more than 3 rounds with a prime Tyson.

Tucker, Smith, Bruno, Holmes did, maybe add Ribalta to that as well.

Douglas, Holyfield x 2, Williams, Lewis, McBride all beat the crap out of him, but recent guys won’t go 3?
He had a 91 second prime!

lots of guys did 3 or more vs Tyson, pretty much all these atg beast guys would have run of the mill types give them rounds, often more than their best win opponents did

Some just went over 3 rounds, either way didn't hear the final bell or get to the Championship rounds.

It's kinda silly to pick automatically Fury and Joshua to be KOed so quick.

The likes of Whyte, Chisora, Joyce and Dubois are better or about the same in comparison to the fighters, who went longer than 3. There were lots of such. Tucker, Smith, Thomas, Bruno, Biggs, Tillis, Green, Ferguson, Ribalta, while the half of them weren't KOed at all.

Hughie, Price, Gorman and Allen are likely to be KOed early, maybe even in 3 or faster. Although Hughie can turn on a survival mode.

Whyte, Chisora, Joyce and Dubois are nowhere near the class of an unbeaten Tucker, unbeaten Olympic gold medalist Biggs, former world champ Ratliff, formerly lb4lb rated Pinklon, or even Bruno. Utter nonsense, laughable.

Danny Williams beat Mike Tyson, Derek Chisora beat Danny Williams.

Ergo Derek Chisora is better than Mike Tyson. :TU:

Steve Cunningham and Pajkic knocked Fury down in two, Prime Mike could do the same and finish him...

I think he got up and beat them up....,
Name me one opponent Mike Tyson got up against and won? He quit every time. Even Botha he was looking for a way out. Kevin McBride, mate, that’s bad. And he was in his 30’s.

This was a criticism of the fact the that the original poster thought that Fury is the obvious only choice to beat Tyson. I don't even rate Mike that high in the all time rankings but Fury is very beatable and not even remotely as invincible as the thread implies. In theory, Mike Tyson could be beaten by others in the top 10 when you analyse it at a more specific level, Fury could do against Tyson and also others in the top 10 if he would face them. It's all hypothetical as the fights haven't happened but both Tyson's are beatable.

Quality fighters. Tyson finished them. He finished all the 'next big things' - Biggs, Truth Williams, Ruddock. Boxing was a much higher level back then.

Most of that list wouldn't "last" 3 rounds with Tyson. And if they all came for the win and had a proper go then probably none would last.

Tucker and Smith (particularly) grabbed on for dear life for most of the contest. Even Lewis held excessively until a well past it Tyson's storm blew out.

When Tyson was on the way up and in his prime most opponents quickly learned that holding (cheating) was the only way to survive.

You couldn't even jab Tyson, let alone the rest. The best jabbers in the game (and there many from the post-Ali conveyor belt) tried it and couldn't land it, and were countered at mid range with compact combos - punched out of the ring or taken out early. Tyson actually outjabbed the highly touted Tucker, who resorted to holding and grabbing and running and tying up in survival mode. Carl The Truth outjabbed a prime Holmes for 15 rounds and was sprawled on the mat in no time against Mike.
