recommendations/free-standing heavy bag

Post by trembler »

Can anyone recommend a free-standing heavy bag for home use. Thanks.

None are great tbh. I’ve had them all over the years. Short life if used a lot

Used the Body Opponent Bag (BOB) for quite a while.

Human torso, neck and head improved targeting skills, allowed uppercuts and hooks.

Head resistance on strikes a little lame, always thought it would tear off some day. It didn’t.

Torso resisted similar to real body, I think.

Took a lot of sand or water to fill base. Heavy.

Variable height positions.

Liked it a lot.

Expensive.
