I think Jack's jab and hug style , often used on smaller men who would be like middles or lower today, wouldnt work so well against Vander, who was just more diverse, stronger, and with great engine

No matter if this is a 15 rounder, or a 100 round fight Holy wins. Many of the so called great fights Johnson had were SNOREFESTS. Guys throwing 5 or 6 punches a round, and it would go on forever. Not saying Johnson could not fight, but those fights were not exactly barn burners. Just trying to watch some of those fights were best for insomniacs.
