None of Saunders' opponents (or Saunders himself) would stand a prayer with Rocchigiani. Rocky was quite dominant against the legendary Henry Maske and Dariusz M in their peaks, two of the greats. An IBF and WBC world king.

Keep in mind that after losing to BJS Ryder also got stopped by Nick Blackwell and lost to Jack Arnfeld, Rochi was at a totally different level to that. I'd pick him to go 3-0 against that group (lol at Spike)

Eubank sold out the NEC (12,000), Olympia (10,000), Earls Court (10,000), G-Mex (10,000), Glasgow (10,000) all multiple times, Portugal, Sun City, that fabulous venue in Berlin and big stadium fights (45,000) etc at £75 a pop when the average wage was £90 a week and they could so easily have watched for free on TV.

I don't think you quite realise just how good fighters like Michael Nunn, Henry Maske, Dariusz M and a Young Malinga (not the unmotivated/faded version who fought Benn twice and Jones Jr) were - we are talking the ELITE. He wiped out Hamsho with a perfectly timed left cross in the first, Hamsho gave Hagler hell.
Nick Blackwell and John Ryder etc are modern regional leisure centre lads. It is ludicrous talk.

Nah, don't agree, Spike is a limited brawler and he's been a punch bag vs every good opponent he's faced. You said before you were joking about Spike but now you are being serious again? He's out of place in the discussion and woulda got tooled and easily beat by Rochi, that's for sure. A guy like Jack Culcay is a fair bit better than Spikebrilo33 wrote: ↑22 Jul 2020, 18:19spike never laid a glove on bjs , but he has still come on not saying he is top 10 i would fancy him against quigley, any way who u going smith v saulmargaret thatcher wrote: ↑22 Jul 2020, 18:17Ryder has come on from when he fought BJS, sure

I lIke that fight a lot, if Callum is in form it could end up a bad night for Canelo, though Canelo seems more consistent and could do really good work to that long body.
