Andy Foster, the executive director of the California State Athletic Commission.

“This isn’t a situation where they’re going out there to try to take each other’s heads off,” Foster told Yahoo! Sports. “They’re just going to be in there moving around the ring and letting fans see these legends.”

There's been alot of talk of Tyson coming back... it seems a terrible idea. I think he will look awful in a boxing ring, he hasn't aged well and I can't imagine he has any kind of athleticism left at all. The best he could hope for is probably a fight with some complete novice club-fighter, and get them out early with a quick dig to the liver - Shannon Briggs seems to have resorted to that in recent years.

Roy Jones isn't going to fall for that though. He'll probably toy with Tyson, who may just sit down and not bother getting back up like he did vs McBride.

Nobody ever accused either of these guys of being shrewd businessmen. Going to run this farce up against a canelo fight. Lol

It will be interesting to see if Tyson can go 8 rounds.

I know it won't be a proper paced fight, but ageing Tyson was 4 round fighter at best and that was the best part of 20 years ago.

As shambolic spectacles go, this captures my imagination way more than another Mayweather ego-stroke-a-thon against a seventy-five pound Japanese.

I think you’re taking this too seriously chaps. They’re going to move around for a few rounds, let off some steam, make a few quid. Why not?

Tyson might get hurt trying to move around for 25 minutes. More power to them, as long as they have some form of guaranteed money and Mike doesn't mind embarrassing himself again. :TU:

That they'll donate to charity and rely on ppv buys for their cut. I did just see Jake Paul is on the card, that helps.

Exhibition like a spar? These two have crazy egos, what are the chances of it getting out of control and them throwing hayemakers.

It will be a strange viewing.

Roy's chin was very bad at the end of his career. I see him getting dropped with a jab.

I am probably the biggest Roy Jones fan on this site. Lets say I recieved a call from him tomorrow and he would ask me to give him a thousand bucks, I would do so hesitantly since I am a cheap bastard but id do it.

This being said I think that this fight is all wrong for Roy Jones, Mike Tyson isnt out for an exhibition, he is trying to make a mini comeback, next up will be a ranked contender. Mike is going to knock Roy Jones out.

You honestly think he's making a legit comeback?
