He is f@Cking big , thats for sure. Pretty much any other hw is a flabby mess at 270+, Joe is still defined and not blown up looking

Doesn’t matter what weight he is. He still can do his trademark jump/swing or whatever it is.

People remember Dubois got tagged by Richard Lartey right? Someone none of us had heard of previous to the fight announcement.

No need to channel EO in this discussion. JJ blocks punches with his face and is slower than George W Bush on ketamine, up against a sharp and powerful hitter in DD.

JJ will have to have a granite chin to absorb the punishment he’s going to ship, but he has been hurt before.

Joe had no respect for the oppo there.
Hopefully he'll be a lot sharper vs Triple D - sure he will be.

I’m not channeling anyone. I think it will be a well matched-up fight. Both have faults.. not haven’t really had that many step up fights. Joyce has fought better opposition though and like you said has been tagged a few time’s, but so has DDD..

I’m looking forward to this one.

Joyce will give Dubois a very tough night, he wont fold and let's face it is a big step up in opposition for Dubois.

I think that performance from DDD AND this from The Juggernaut were both due to 'no respect for the oppo'

I think DD’s strengths outstrip JJ’s. He’s just going to be drilling the guy with power shots until it’s all over.

Joyce is a proper unit, He's a lot bigger than Dubois who himself is built like a brick shit house.

I wouldn't under estimate Joyce when he goes in against Dubois. His nickname is bang on: The juggernaut

I was gonna say. Jesus, if I was Warren i would be channeling the simile king James McDonnell and writing these guys a repertoire’s worth of snappy one liners and witticisms to get the public engaged , get them some media training, consult some Expert on rhetorical devices, SOMETHING to get a bit of life into their promos and get the public more fired up than they likely will be.

Hell I would settle for an enthusiastic James Degale ‘tripping over his own tonsils but at least being amusing’ type display on the interview front rather than watching these two morticians labour away on the mic like they have been to cringeworthy effect.

I can’t help but like Joyce. I don’t think either he or Dubois are destined for big things but I hope Joyce wins that October dust up.

Maybe his chin is just a bit too fresh to see him taken out early by DD, who I anticipate being a bad KO waiting to happen.

This is how I see Joyce.
You know what you are going to get with him, seems an honest fella.
Would love to see him go onto big things but his lack of mobility surely must catch up with him at some stage.

I’m rooting for Joyce too..

If DD loses, he can come again. It will be a learning move for him.. he’s not even 25

Joyce is a good guy. Gets a lot of stick but he has been pretty effective at getting things done with the tools he possesses.

He’s a big guy, people always say how big AJ is but Joyce is bigger and naturally that big.

He also has a great Engine .

I am not saying he is the next Muhammad Ali but heavyweight boxing is a little different to other divisions in that you don’t have to be super slick or a technical wizard to be a legit champion... Wilder being case in point.

I do think 270 was too heavy for him though, at the weigh in he was definitely sporting some love handles (relatively speaking ) that we don’t normally see from him. Clearly didn’t have a full camp due to CV19

JJ v DDD is a tough fight for both and I get surprised when I see people picking so confidently either way.

Good luck to them both as they are both clean living, sensible and respectful guys who despite taking completely different routes into boxing, serve as great role models to aspiring fighters.

They haven’t got the big personality of a Tyson Fury or a Bernard Hopkins, but they are genuine, honest, hard-working guys and that is good enough for me.

He looks like he’s been out for a year.. if he had come at a lower weight, he would have given too much weight.
Knackered after a round. That's three minutes. Hardly professional sport at an elite level.

See thats just stupid. Boxers in my opinion are judged on their ability in the ring. Not their ability to talk shite.

Go and watch wrestling or politics if that interests you.
