Yes I agree with your comment that he is looking much worse now since facing the great Kevin McBride.

He should rematch Pete McNeely. I'd watch that.

Due to the veteran status of the former world champions, there appeared to have been an agreement that they would not be punching at full power and it would be more of a competitive spar, at best, as confirmed by Andy Foster, the executive director of the California State Athletic Commission.

‘This isn’t a situation where they’re going out there to try to take each other’s heads off,’ Foster told Yahoo Sports. ‘They’re just going to be in there moving around the ring and letting fans see these legends.’

Got to love McNeely. For years I wondered what would happen if a boxer went in kamikaze style against someone like Tyson right from the bell.

McNeely was the only one willing to demonstrate.

The ending was fixed. A wiseguy bet a million it would not go 90 seconds and paid peters corner a handsome fee to assure that happened. which is why it was such an odd ending.

Not that peter wasnt getting knocked out... he would have

Makes sense. He didn’t give a F in that pre-fight interview, seemed like it was all a joke.

They're going to need a stacked undercard for this PPV, because the main event is going to disappoint any mainstream casuals that are naively expecting to see prime versions of Tyson and Jones Jr. trying to take each others' head off, but instead, it's going to be a gentle spar between two totally shot fighters.

$49.99 should be considered as being daylight robbery if the undercard isn't stacked.

That would equate to $5m dollars, which would be pretty impressive considering the fighters headlining the event aren't being paid (or perhaps they'll only recover expenses for the bout).

They are 100 percent being paid. You think two guys who need money are going to fight for charity? Maybe the "profits" will go to a charity not the whole pot

Im assuming 100k is the goal. I have no idea how it does. 50 is a psychological barrier. 40 would have been better but obviously needed more buys at a lower price

Just saw reports of triller paying 50mm for streaming rights. Seems far fetched.
But they are doing a 24/7 type show to promote this

This is a swindle, a con. They are going to jab at each other and shoeshine and move around. This is 100 percent used to swindle an app out of money and it may have worked

They'd have to actually be trying to hurt each other to hurt each other. They're gonna have a nice friendly sparring sessions, and laugh all the way to the bank at the suckers who were willing to pay for it.

What if old Mike wakes up?
If you're talking about dirty Mike, the ref will most likely immediately intervene and stop the affair.

If you're talking about Mike that created all the mystique, he hasn't been awake in about 30+ years so probably not much cause for concern.
