IMO Vargas by KO 4-6

If the fight was in Italy.....advantage Rosi.
He stacked up the wins there and knew what was required.
Only Honeyghan properly did him over.

In the US it is Vargas....but not so early for me; Rosi was tough, tricky and organised.

Tend to agree. Rosi was a pain-in-the-azz to fight for anyone (except maybe Curry) and while Vargas was way stronger and more classically skilled, I can see it taking a while to grind Rosi down. He's one of the those fighters who sometimes looked like a pushover, but wasn't. He actually beat some pretty good opponents

That's a good summary Giacomino.......Rosi won a fair few and could be very effective at times.
Honeyghan's early take out off Rosi for the European title and in Italy still looks v. impressive.

Can't see Rosi going the distance. Vargas was a much better fighter.
