Fourth even
Re: Lyndon Arthur vs. Dec Spelman - 31 July 2020
B&W wins fifth. Wish it was like football where they show score and team colors in the corner of the screen. I missed the intro so I haven't got a clue who's who.

how good arthur be, i mean he has lazy style about him back foot ropes counter, should he not go out and put it on dec and take him out
Re: Lyndon Arthur vs. Dec Spelman - 31 July 2020
This is like a domestic level Cotto Margacheato. If Dec had loaded gloves Arthur would fall apart about now.
Re: Lyndon Arthur vs. Dec Spelman - 31 July 2020
iam suprised yarde is fighting him next i mean he us leavel above him
Re: Lyndon Arthur vs. Dec Spelman - 31 July 2020
Arthur absolutely stinks. Spent this entire fight going in a clockwise circle. Awful.

More needed from Arthur. The skills are there but limited entertainment value.

Must have landed about 6 hard jabs in a row without throwing the right. I know he’s won the fight but could get rid of he guys here.
Re: Lyndon Arthur vs. Dec Spelman - 31 July 2020
clear winner Arthur for me, but i werent that impressed did enough to win, he could be a really good fighter i think but i see yarde ko him

117-111 Arthur for me, Spelman brought heat but it was a fairly comfortable night for him, considering Spelman never stopped coming forward and punching, Arthur never took too many clean punches all night, one criticism is he's a bit too relaxed and should really go up through the gears but all in all I thought he looked class, jab was superb, quick and accurate, Spelman couldn't avoid them, even when Arthur switched southpaw the jab was quality, he walked Spelman on to some crisp uppercuts, whipped in shots to the body, chose to lay on ropes for long spells but always looked comfortable, Spelman could never really land they clean shots to hurt him, Spelman's a tank though, kept swinging away to try make something happen but Arthur a class apart, he really needs to learn to put guys at this level away though or he's gonna come a cropper if he keeps coasting
Re: Lyndon Arthur vs. Dec Spelman - 31 July 2020
i agree with that, i wanted to see more from arthur cause he has the skills to be a really good fighter, i called it lazy style but i mean relaxed as you say, he was just one paced, but when he throws a few punches he could be dangerous, maybe he steps up with a better oppohandsofstone wrote: ↑31 Jul 2020, 18:07 117-111 Arthur for me, Spelman brought heat but it was a fairly comfortable night for him, considering Spelman never stopped coming forward and punching, Arthur never took too many clean punches all night, one criticism is he's a bit too relaxed and should really go up through the gears but all in all I thought he looked class, jab was superb, quick and accurate, Spelman couldn't avoid them, even when Arthur switched southpaw the jab was quality, he walked Spelman on to some crisp uppercuts, whipped in shots to the body, chose to lay on ropes for long spells but always looked comfortable, Spelman could never really land they clean shots to hurt him, Spelman's a tank though, kept swinging away to try make something happen but Arthur a class apart, he really needs to learn to put guys at this level away though or he's gonna come a cropper if he keeps coasting

He has great skills to be fair , but I was expecting a little more , wonder if he has any more gears .
RW said Spelman didn't have another gear, but it seemed like Arthur fought at the same pace all the way through .
Was enough at this level , Yarde would be a massive step up .
Re: Lyndon Arthur vs. Dec Spelman - 31 July 2020
thats it though , you want to see him step it up put the pressure on dec and stop him, but maybe he is the type of fighter who just does enough to win ,rd350lc wrote: ↑31 Jul 2020, 18:24He has great skills to be fair , but I was expecting a little more , wonder if he has any more gears .

I wish all journeymen were like Fidoe. He gave it a good go and is often in competitive fights.
