Hi! I think this bout https://boxrec.com/en/event/37594 was sanctioned by the WBA for their world Welterweight championship....

At least it was on Ring en Espanol's list of world Welterweight championship bouts. I remember that.

No, it was a non-title fight. Espada's WBA title was not on the line

Hmnn..I guess you are right. Hayman had also lost 3 in a row before that....
