Wardley v Valilly

Post by jameswilson »

Just watched the weigh ins and one thing that struck me was the condition of these two. 16stone bang on for Wardley and 16stone and half a pound for Vakilly. Both lost a fair bit of weight since their last fights.

I think this fight and Belotti v Gill, may see upsets or Gill and Wardley pushed harder than we thought.

As well as that at the back of my mind I think Valilly May get disqualified as he’s been a bit of a dirty get in recent fights,

Comfortable stoppage win for Wardley. Validly was never at the races and didn't show any fire.

Vallily sucks, not sure how he keeps getting slots on TV.

He seems to operate in slow motion 90% of the time and when he let's his hands go almost seems to slap with his punches.

Wardley is pretty raw, but potential. It will be interesting watching how his career develops.

Wardley just needs to keep active.

Tom Little, Sokolowski, Nick Webb, Kash Ali etc.

If he can get a few more wins and starts calling out Dave Allen while pushing for the British title mandatory position things could get very interesting for him.

I think Sokolowski in a 8rd+ fight would be very interesting, he'll beat Little not sure about Webb or Ali though.

With the backing he has he probably won’t find it hard to get a mandatory shot for the British.

It’s gonna be a case or whether the likes of Kasha Ali or Nick Webb are willing to fight Wardley at 3 weeks notice. Wardley having just been in a fight and already being in shape is at a huge advantage.

I just presumed as it was a PPV show it would be against Dave Allen, which would be a decent sized step!

He'd beat Dave Allen now, with ease.
