It’s strange that you think Hearn did Bellotti dirty.

He was being outboxed by Jason Cunningham for the Commonwealth title before finding a big punch. He was then handily beaten by Doyle, given a comeback fight, challenged for the British title and lost a fairly close fight against Walsh, given another comeback fight, lost a close fight for an international title in Italy and the lost fairly comprehensively against Gill who was also rebounding from a fairly recent loss.

Most of these fights have been on Sky, all been at the right/competitive level and despite losing he’s been given lots of opportunities.

Would you rather he went to Southern area level and pick up some wins?

Tbh he should probably make that drop back in level soon, needs to pretty the record up a bit for the bigger fights. Agree though that he wasnt done dirty, he got good opportunities after losing to Doyle, which was a bad loss considering that nature of it and the opponent

If he can be one of these guys who is reused on bigger shows, well then that's not bad at all realistically considering his level. And he is probably good enough to surprise someone eventually if he keeps at it and doesnt start to slip into a journeyman mentality

I'm guessing he means by using him as an opponent to boost other guys' careers instead of taking time to reset his own? Tbf, he's kept using him and gotten him good fights. Not like he wouldn't have anything to do with him after Doyle stopped him.

He is much better than your typical 14-4 guy though. He had his moments vs Gill and Walsh and the Italian guy. But to start a winning run again clearly he needs to drop his level a bit from that

Can'yt do him wrong if Bellotti was the goods above Brittish then it would have shown. He saw the guys level and prove as such. P.S. I think he doing the same thing to Luke Campbell. I think Eddie could get Luke one of them bogus WBA belts if he really wanted but after that the Mendy and Linares fights he figure Luke isn't good enough to be the guy like he thought.
