I'm guessing lyndon arthur (menacing ethnic street thug) against dec spelman (weirdly tattooed scaffolder) isn't really going to capture much of the public's imagination even if it was a good trade fight. what are their selling points?

Its hard cracking the scaffolding scene, definitely a niche market

Biggest small hall seller I know is a scaffolder!

Basically the FW cards have been poor. With only 5 fights per card it was a great opportunity to put on 5 competitive scraps. He still decided to put prospects against Journeyman on the undercard.
This meant there wasn’t much quality for BT to advertise and the marketing was poor.

Sky put on a quality card and advertised it well.

FW ditched BN which was churning out quality fights (which it had to, to survive). Since his BT contract he’s been churning out mismatches like he did with SKY.
The quality has in the main part been dire.
The bad news is that I can see BT ditching boxing all together once the contract expires.
No wonder they are desperate for a Queensbury-Matchroom card. He’s reluctant to put the majority of his quality fighters in with each other unless he’s desperate for a PPV (Joyce-Dubois)

I thought the Sky show was enjoyable from start to finish.

I really dont get why they put someone like Brett Fidoe on a card like that.

would anyone sit and watch raheem sterling repeatedly kicking the ball into an empty net for 12 minutes with rawling saying "he's really learning a lot from this, testing out his shot variety"

Also did Dubois v Joyce and Warrington v Frampton in the last 18 months. I don’t think Frank is too bad for matching his own fighters. Think Hearn keeps his apart a lot more.
