Correction appears to be needed to the records of Jean Sneyers (ID# 016284) and Norman Tennant (ID# 024211)
They are shown as fighting each other as follows:
Wednesday 27, October 1948 - event 510556 - Tennant wins in three rounds when Sneyers retires with an injured thumb.
Thursday 28, October 1948 (i.e. the next day) - event 40403 - Sneyers wins in three rounds when Tennant is halted with an injured thumb.
Boxing News, 10 November 1948, p13 indicates that the correct date is Thursday 28, October 1948. All the details and results for event 40403 match the BN report except for Tennant-Sneyers one: Tennant is stated to have WON the fight when Sneyers retired "in the third round with an injury to his thumb".
Therefore could you correct the result for Tennant-Sneyers in event 40403 to a win for Tennant, and delete event 510556 as incorrect. Thank you.
