Best 1 round fights?

Post by shadowsfall »

What are some of the best bouts to never see the second round?

This should be fun.

Mine will always be Barkley vs. Nigel Benn. A true classic

May 8 1982 Ray Mancini-Art Frias is right up there pure action. I also agree with Meza-Garza

My favourite s have been said
Maza Vs Garza, Mancini Vs Frias and Holt Vs Torres II (one of the most legendary)

Yuki Yazawa vs Kazuki Nakamura (Seriously give this one a watch!)

Kazuto Ioka Vs Yodgoen Tor Chalermchai (Not an all time great but an enjoyable one)

Hozumi Hasegawa Vs Vusi Malinga

Shuichiro Yoshino vs Harmonito Dela Torre

Can't share the video as it's behind a paywall but Piyanut Sintao vs Kiyohei Endo is a fairly dramatic one

^ Concur, both great action fights.

Powell Bundradge
Lockridge Mayweather
Kirkland Conyers
Quarry Shavers
Shavers Ellis
Tyson Etienne

Benn/Barkley is wild, he was lucky not to get DQ'd.

Tua Ruiz, all 19 brutal seconds of it.

Larios Vasquez I is a hook-fest with a great ending. The ref almost knees the loser in the nuts in his rush to count him out.

Some great first rounders, but I cannot find Kazuto Ioka v Yodgoen tor Chalermchai in the Boxrec files.
What am I doing wrong?

Yodgoen is a ring name, while BoxRec has him listed by his real name
