Eubank did the same by turning down Mike Barrett and going with Barry Hearn.

Where’s Snr get the dough to swan about in Dubai? He was very publicly bankrupted of his ring earnings...is he on a salary from his son, who doesn’t even fight much?

I heard he set up ISA's in Abu Dhabi in 96/97 for the money he made over there fighting/promoting, untaxed earnings.

He is also a notorious freeloader with many billionaire friends over there and in Paris and Russia. They'd be billed for him.

He always knew he'd go bust eventually, he told Andy Ayling in 93/94 'WHEN I go bankrupt, at least I had a fantastic time'.

I think he estimated it would be as his children were ready to leave home.

 I’ve heard he got a good thirst on a night out. You know so much about him maybe you can confirm my mates take on him soon after he retired and was in about the fashion/modelling game? Mark said he was notorious for shagging lots of birds and loved the marching powder?

I do think he cheated on his wife, with the 18 year old firecracker in 92.

He certainly was on nightly champaign benders for a few years in the late noughties. Effin and blindin with no elocution once pisssed.
