Round-by-Round: Felix Cash vs. Jason Welborn - 14 August 2020
Re: Round-by-Round: Felix Cash vs. Jason Welborn - 14 August 2020
Pointless main event, Cash just thudded around a guy 2 divisions lighter than him, can't take anything from it.

I think think so but I'm steaming, I'll check back in tomorrow.

I actually think Johnny Nelson is a very good pundit.
However the sky commentary is atrocious.

I can't see Matchroom signing a 35 yr old with addiction and mental health problems who has just been knocked out by an at best domestic champion.
Even with Ball she proved how bad her opponent was rather than how good she is. Nevertheless the level in women's boxing is so low he could prob do something with her if she gets some tattoos and a boob job.

Donovan and Welborn looked tiny
Re: Round-by-Round: Felix Cash vs. Jason Welborn - 14 August 2020
I bet Donovan at his right weight was a good fighter in his day , technically very good.
Was a good watch , shame he hasn't fought more

Just watched this recorded on the box.
Thought the Courtney fight wasn’t that bad but she deserved it besides the knockdown really.
Donovan can really fight considering age and experience, thought he had an odd punch rhythm which made him a bit unpredictable.
Tonight’s card seems about 10x better on paper

Eddie going on about Ball / Courtenay rematch. If I am Ball I would be pushing for the rematch over 10 rounds.

Agree 100%. The only reason that this fight will get any coverage was the fact that it was entertaining. Skill level was very very poor and both should be know where near TV. Plenty of able men who are losing out on TV coverage due to boxing going more PC

You know Eddie copies everything Dana does .... he has seen how Ronda and Joanna drew huge numbers in UFC and wants some of that!!
Trouble is finding women who are regularly well matched and well skilled is a rarity. The talent pool is shallow plus Eddie doesn’t have a near monopoly in boxing that Dana does in female MMA (yet) , so cant push the fighters and put on 50/50 fights in the same way. (Also boxing Is obsessed with unbeaten records rather than performances so again you don’t get the good match ups )

It's weird, like, Docherty beating up and stopping Ant Fox like that is a good result for sure, but then on the other hand I didn't think he looked all that good? What am I supposed to think about something like that.

Not sure his sexual orientation will be much of a factor.skanksta wrote: ↑14 Aug 2020, 18:05Lol, that changes the odds a bit - poor Ronnie !Coco wrote: ↑14 Aug 2020, 17:52since the last fight Clark has been in nick, broken his back and hasn't fought for 2 and a half years.
I imagine they will wait until Ronnie is 36 to give him the rematch with the full 2 weeks notice!
Barrett hasn't moved forwards in who he has fought and I doubt he will until he is brought in as an opponent for someone like Joe Cordina
I don't see why Cordina is some massive favourite vs Zelfa ?
He's proved he's got good chin, heart, speed and a little power. Is he gonna be a dominant PPV star with a string of defence and multi-weight titles ? Of course not, but can he end up better than the likes of Nicky Cook, Jason Matthews, Glen Catley, Frank Bruno...?
Homo advantage and a weak vacant belt, I say he has a good shout of nicking a "world" title.
