US HW Prospect Makes Pro Debut

Post by oogiebe »

Jeremiah Milton made his pro debut. He's one to watch but he has a ways to go.

Or if. Not a lot out their on his plans. I search him up every now and then, but nothing yet. I think he'll be best served in the ams though. Some fighters don't translate well to the pro game.

Tbf he seems to get a lot of stoppages in the ams and has lots of good wins, including beating Jah and the American 2020 Duncan Dokiwari. Winning international tournaments too. Smaller side though

Well there's a name from the past! LOL!

This guy reminds me of a very young Shannon Briggs. Not sure about the power though.

no doubt. Torrez is an impressive amatuer with a am style. Time will tell what he ends up doing. Maybe he wants gold and is hanging for the potential olympics next year.

What is so am about his style? Doesn't really stand out that way stylistically to me and has tons of stoppages by am standards

Being only 21 you may be right about him hanging around until 2021

Throws lots of punches; lots of movement, but not very smooth. Don't see that extending over more rounds. He's smallish and herky jerky. Don't see that making adjustments to the pro game. would need a lot of training working behind a jab which he doesn't show.

Hmm, don't really see all that myself, seems rather negative appraisal lol. And for being small he's hurting and stopping lots of guys, and winning at high levels. Certainly I think he's got more potential than 26 year old Milton here, but we'll see what happens

Torrez has the experience and credentials, but he won't be anything special as a pro. Milton probably won't either. Just shared the lad's pro debut. Milton only been boxing three years.

Not that I'm aware of. Sad state of affairs. Although I'm still hopeful that Tristan Kalkreuth fills out to HW. He's still only 18.

Considering he's been up to 193 at 18 and the tradition of muricans not being too fond of cruiser (or at least staying there for long) dude could be up at hw not even that long from now

havent really seen much of him, i will check
