Yet again I am reminded why I don't read The People, The Mirror and The Sun etc etc.

I wouldn't credit a word of that article as being true; its just one-sided, from a bitter ex who can't abide the thought of not getting her hands on Nelson's hard-earned money. From the gist of the article, the mother has poisoned the daughter against her own dad, too. He's well shut of her.

Years ago, Bruno used his lawyers to prevent a tabloid from running a sleazy story about how he'd visited a midlands massage parlour late at night, in the build up to a big fight. The paper had photos of him coming in and out. What they weren't going to say was that big Frank had genuinely gone in for a massage, and that both his wife and his trainer were present at all times. The writer was going to pen the article in such a way as to present it as "frank goes to a brothel" sleaze-story, so that the readers would assume that he'd sneaked in on his own. Fortunately, he got his lawyers to stop publication.

In the 1980's, the tabloids knew for a long time that Lloyd Honeyghan had fathered several kids to different women. Lloyd was a nobody (in celebrity terms) even though he'd won British, Commonwealth and European titles. The tabloids sat on the story until his shock upset of Don Curry. Two days later, on the Monday, the tabloids ran their "sensational" expose on our newest boxing hero.

Makes you proud to be British :TU:

It's a double edged sword - just because Nelson is a boxer and comes across well; does not mean he does not make mistakes.

I think it's good the tabloids print these kind of stories as it means the hypocrisies of people are in the public eye - not saying they are not one sided and twisted or that Nelson has not been hard done by - but I would rather have a free press that can muckspread than one held back by so-called privacy laws.

Piper is accussed of using 'threatening language' at a Mensa meeting and Dempsey is up in court next month on charges of "attempting to impersonate an Irishman."
As for Adam Smith, he's a well known 'Player' on the Milton Keynes gay scene.
It must be true. I read it all in the Daily Sport.

What an unsavoury bunch. All they need is Gary Mason to come on and say "Where my f_ucking tie?"
