Gil Clancy Question.

Post by KOJOE90 »

In an interview with Boxing trainer Gil Clancy I read he keeps refering to Light-Heavyweigh great Archie Moore as Fat Moore.

Is this just a friendly jibe? Or do these two just not get on?

Any information fight fans? :box:

Fat Moore became an adviser to George Foreman in I believe 1970 or so. Foreman met him through singer James Brown as moore was his personal manager of sorts and adviser. At around the same time, Foreman started working with Arhie Moore. No relation. Clancy had some difficulties evidently with Fat Moore on a buisness level . The two didnt get along to well.
Hope that helps a bit.
