Why bother showing the ring walks?

They have five fights to squeeze into two hours, there's no fans there. What exactly do the ring walks add?

I thought that fight was live but I stuck the radio on to Talksport before the first bell to see what they had on and they were interviewing Chamberlain post-fight.
