Commiserations to Whyte, but I am enjoying the puncturing of Smith's balloon.

Well that's the heavyweights for you, that's why we watch .em - one minute Pov's looking finished then one punch turns everything on it's head.

I'd rather have seen Whyte-Fury than Pov-Fury.

Told you Whyte was too fat. He looked as fat and languid as Pov, who was 40.

WBC once again fücked another boxer over.. over 1000 days waiting.. and now he’s lost his Interim belt.. the Diamond belt triggered it for Pov

Called it....always was worried about pov's power...and Whytes ability to get hurt by lesser punches....although didn't expect it to go as it went....actually expected pov to be on top through his boxing ability and not on the verge of getting stopped himself

True, but he was also landing the better body shots and taking advantage of his superior reach.

You could see him thinking about when to bring his left up after softening Povetkin, and maybe he was too busy thinking about breaking Pov down to concentrate fully on defence. That's how it felt to me, but it's not like he could just spoil and invite aggression.

Total robbery IMHO. Whyte the better boxer.

Hahahahaha sorry. What a lovely textbook shot, jab slip uppercut. You just can’t ever switch off as a big heavy at the world level.

I’m not a Hearn hater but he hasn’t half landed on his feet there. Annoyingly good card top to bottom, take my £20 and make it better on paper next time. Goodnight lads was a good thread!

Pov was looking like a very old fighter in there tonight. Credit to him though that shot was an absolute peach and would finish any HW
