I'd love to be able to box like that - he's completely mastered the art form.
I know it's not exciting but I like watching Sunny with a bet on him by dec.
maybe i need to have some bets on him to have any sort of interest in that. he basically wins by landing a few more jabs each round. he also doesnt inside fight and will just hold if the guy does manage to get close, fair enough but it's a tough watch

But seriously, that's just a public workout. Next fight will be a BIG step up.
How in any way does that prepare him for Joyce ? Pointless mismatch of epic proportions.
Yep. I agree. Huge step up coming if he fights Joyce next. Personally I think Joyce beats him.
So do I , said it from the start , Dubois not been tested at any level yet .

Joyce second half of the fight for me, I think certainly Dubois will be taken into deep water, let's see if he can swim!

I think the only thing missing from Dubois is natural menace. His power's truly scary given his temperament, and I don't doubt he'd get fired up and really start blasting if you hurt him, but I can imagine him losing later rounds to tiredness if he's simply getting outboxed and not rocked.

Joyce needs to reach the second half in good shape to win.

2 decent matches (Maxwell vs Hughes & Edwards vs Esomba) but 3 really poor mismatches.

FW needs to put on more competitive main events - we’ve got Yarde vs Spelman, Taylor vs the Thai lad and Williams vs Robinson.

Taylor needs to fight this opponent but the other 2 main events are awful - as have been the last 3 or 4 shows.

Also makes no sense to get a blown up cruiserweight, with no meaningful wins as preparation for Joyce. Also the board shouldn’t have accepted Hutchinson’s opponent - was another really poor mismatch.

Agree with the comments but isn't Robinson mandatory ?

Yes he’s mandatory but Williams is mandatory for the WBO title. Wouldn’t it make more sense to free up the British belt and have a more meaningful fight that will help him prepare for Andrade?

Or fight Robinson but not have it headline the show.

Waste of time mismatch :shame: And everyone on here knew it. No aftertiming going on as Buncey would say.

Joyce's warm up opponent was definitely better. This Dutch guy was an utter waste of time. I burst into laughter when they announced "scheduled for 12 rounds"

The only things to take away was the good body shot Dubois landed and, like Bruno, Dubois takes all his opponents seriously and doesn't under estimate anyone.

The Joyce v Dubois fight had better happen now, otherwise the viewers have been taken for a ride.

And when they announce the judges..

They might as well have scheduled this one for 4 rounds.

Yep

I was going to say something similar....why not just make it an 8 rounder and have some reality.

Let’s just say it again.

Joe Joyce will weigh 50lbs heavier than Sneiders and is some 4 inches taller.

If nothing else Wallish was a big lump.

Yeah, a total waste of time. Both of these warm-ups sucked, they were unnecessary.

The floater was a good little scrap. Sam Noakes versus Jordan Ellison. Noakes is a bit too easy to hit but has a fan friendly style. Should be in some good fights.

I'll probably get flack but ddd still completely unproven. We don't know if he can haul all that muscle around past 6 with a proper live opponent. Jj already operated around euro level.

Despite his obvious flaws, I'm going with Joyce because the form against proper opposition is with him, but Dubois' power makes it a twitchy pick especially as Joe is not hard to hit.

Joyce's chin looks rock solid and it will be tested like never before when Dubois detonates that right hand.
