Youngest Heavyweight Champions EVER

With the passing of Floyd Patterson (RIP) the 2nd youngest champ ever, behind Tyson, i was wondering who was 3rd, 4th and 5th. My friend says Ali but Isay somebody else. Is there a list of youngest champions fro myoungest to oldest? - j

thanks. is there an official list or something? i thought dempsey was younger than louis? also i'm talking about alphabet soup champs too (any wbo/wba/ibf/wbc)

Back in 2006? I don't remember what I was thinking then, either!

I thought Grant was a WB-something champion at one point. Not the three (or four, whatever) major belts, but one of the minors.

And as abhorrent as the idea is now, when Luther McCarty won the "white title" he was pretty young. Somewhere around the Tyson & Patterson range.

Michael Grant beat Alfred Cole for the IBC title on July 20th 1997.
Grant was 24 years old.
