Ya, really an underappreciated boxer I think, people often frame him negatively for not winning a world title, like that makes him some failure since he was a hot shot amateur, but he was very handy and had a nice career even without a belt

Juan was tough and tenacious but HD had the tools to win a decision

Diaz by late KO. similar to the Chapo Rosario situation. The thing is...Davis was too chinny.

Diaz doesn’t come anywhere near Rosario in punch or talent.

Also, Rosario didn't come close to stopping him. Howard was my first favorite fighter, Diaz fan too. Two great guys I've had the pleasure of meeting, but Juan's up against it here. Davis was miles faster than Paulie who troubled him. Diaz wasn't a puncher, but he was more suited to face them. Hed do better against Rosario.

Agreed. Diaz might outwork Rosario and survive the gigantic ocasional right hand. He was busier than Davis, who was much faster. I’d pick Diaz over Rosario before Davis

no, but he threw a lot of punches in bunches. A well trained Diaz would wear Davis down with an inccesant attack, then go to the head and possibly knock him out in the late 12th round.
