Ratings just an observation

Post by Grant »

Not a criticism just an observation, given that nothing is perfect and that it is hard to judge the true worth of a fighter until he or she come up against a recognised opponent I found this interesting anomaly. I didn't want to put this in the ratings folder because it relates to a current fighter and is just interesting to me. I am sure that anyone can come up with more should they look.

Our Ben Kite(126) D Tysinn Best (299) last nigh and previously loses to Neeraj Goyat (388) who in turn loses to Sergio Daniel Moreno Martinez (543)

Look I'm in Melbourne I have nothing better to do.

Until you actually get to the top 5 world ratings , i would'nt take too much notice of them , a rough idea , a good indication certainly , but quite often more about match making and a promotor or name behind them than anything else ,, Springing to mind Connor Benn and Tim Tzyu , i llok at Tim and think how the hell are you so far in front of Daniel Lewis , who i think would be waaay too much for Tim ,,,, Will say i would love to see Tim and Benn square of , or Tim and Lewis .

Will say though Tim did a good job with Horn , but watching it again i thought jeez its not Tim who's got so good , its Horn who is so bad , .

Daniel Lewiss versus Tim Tzyu ,, bring it on

Tim would beat Lewis easily now, Lewis prob wants easier fights after hardly winning a round in his last one

Nah, I doubt it.

Tim would pound Lewis now, better boxer for sure and been developed better with better fights. Lewis is a limited guy in comparison.

The hyped a-side establishment kid is always gonna get some of this wishful thinking against him

Well hopefully Tim can get a big fight or two and make a decent quid , always like to see a boxer do well , if he can't even though i don't think either of them are ppv ,, funny thing is i would buy a Tim v Lewiss fight and actually look forward to it ... Tims going well ,, but i dunno , he looked impresive against Horn , until i watched it again more closely , Then i could'nt help but think Tim was'nt super great Horn was just super bad , just a shot fighter blowing after a few rnds , with no idea on what to do , i think he made Tim look good

Lewiss though he's hard tough , and will not let Tim have it all his own way ,, Still i would love to see it and could'nt care if i was proved wrong , would'nt be the first or the last time

Buzz Rothfield advises:
Boxer Daniel Lewis, the promising fighter who once beat Tim Tszyu as an amateur, has shocked the sport by deciding to retire.

Lewis was about to get a shot at Tszyu and the biggest pay packet of his career. He phoned his manager Peter Mitrevski jnr last week to break the news.

Promoter Matt Rose is now looking at new options for Tszyu.

Didn't want to take that L, maybe just wanted to keep his claim to fame as a guy Timmeh couldnt beat, wouldnt like Tim getting inevitable revenge if the fight happened
