I have it my head that Patterson and ingo shared a bunch in one of the rematches.
Orb - think Patterson was down twice in the third fight before winning it, having floored Johansson a couple of times too. Is that the one you're thinking of?
I think so mate. I know the first fight was crazily in Ingo's favour before the KO, the second was hugely the reverse before the brutal KO and the third is often forgotten about or misremembered because of the way the 2nd ended but it was reasonably even and there were knockdowns either way before the finish. I thought it was more than it was. Good fight either way!

Tommy Coyle the current front runner with 4 knockdowns in a victory.

The most gone I’ve ever seen someone was Andy Lee vs Julian Jackson. All over the place waves his hand in a random direction and it detonated in Jackson’s chin knocking him clean out is my recollection of it.

It was an absolute robbery but Blanco made amends in Spain.
Interested in your view on that one - how did you score the first fight? McAuley was down four times, Blanco down once. I still had McAuley winning by three points, and thought it was the right decision. Was some discussion on it previously on here at viewtopic.php?f=9&t=225411 which explains some of the reasoning, rather than repeating it.

Plus I recall the rematch scoring being controversial, although I didn't see that one - only listened on the radio.
I watched both fights but haven't seen them since the time they were fought - Blanco definitely won the first fight because I remember the rematch in Spain - McAuley might have nicked it but I remember thinking at the time 'good, justice has prevailed' I remember thinking Blanco won the first fight for sure.

Adonis Creed was dropped about 15 times and survived a 30 count and still won.

Coyle and Hong Soo-Hwan both with wins after being down 4 times
Hong was down 4 in a round and won a world title so if there was tie breakers....

I haven’t looked but I think it was only two actually.

Hard to believe around that time Klitschko was regularly on his arse.
