Coneye, how do you describe yourself by nationality out of interest?
Theres no question about it i'm English , i was born there and grew up there ,, but i have took out Aussie citezenship , i felt it was the least i could do , this country has been good to me , and i love it here ,, whenever i've been back i always feel nostalgic and love England , but i know i could never live there full time again ,

We were toying with the idea , of joining some thing where people actually swap houses for a period , not sure what its called , but apparantly people swap houses and borrow each others cars ect for a set period , that appealed to me but covid has put an end to them thoughts ,, I would love it i'm an avid motorbike rider , and would love to just hit the motorways there travel the UK and go over to europe on my bike .

But Yeh , I'm a pom ,, un;less i'm in england when my old mates refer to me has an Auss   ie

Not trying to take the piss mate, just wanted to illustrate that something that may seem unusual about how people choose to identify themselves isn't necessarily that strange at all :TU:

It really was two old idiots , making fools of themselves ,, but more So John ...... Personaly , i thought at first , it would'nt be a bad idea for a promoter to put it on a undercard , chuck in a bit of dough for charity , and just make it all about a charity no winner just a fun boxing exhibition , that could of been for a worthy cause and treated it with a laugh , no one gets hurt .

,, But then the slanging started , mainly from John , then it got beyond a charity boxing and became personal , and at that stage , its time to do one of two things

A ,,,, Say shut the fook up you idiot were two old men stop being silly .... or

B .... Jump in your car , go knock on his door and say ,,, outside lets sort it

I think Homi tried to convince himself that he was a traveller, some convoluted thing about his mom's grandad's cousins' brothers' uncle being from 'travelling stock' and 'fighting men' or something

I think it comes down to how you feel inside. There are people who have come and built lives in England, who feel a great loyalty to the country, and others who have left england who will forever still feel English and the converse would also be true in both cases.

It's as much a matter of choice as anything.

Just wait until you hear about the time he hired a clairvoyant to get in touch with the ghost of Bartley Gorman so he could instil some gypsy fighting spirit into Henry :yay:

Been trying to find the thread but think it’s been purged, pretty sure it was during one of Henry’s “fund me to fight my internet rival” threads  The only post I can now find is me referencing it to Henry

I'm pretty sure it was a Pigg Wilson post, where he linked to another forum, I think basically a forum for and about travelling folk, where Henry was posting and searching around about his ancestors, trying to find out if he had any bloodline. Pigg was also saying that Rufus was mistrusted and unpopular in the gypsy community because of it. That's the only time I heard that mentioned. Pigg always gets banned as soon as he's outed, and his post wiped, so unless somebody quotes him (like way back in the funniest part of this thread) everything he says goes, which is a shame because he's probably our most entertaining troll.

But yeah, I remember that story about the him supposedly trying to contact Bartley Gorman's soul. It's always sounded a bit far fetched for me.

Henry is on a lot of forums, though.

I remember Henry trying to be in with the Brit forum but it didn’t take much scratching below the surface and he was telling us that Rotherham and parts of Birmingham had succumbed and white brits couldn’t go there as the Muslims had taken over. Something he’d seen in some hick fake news story.

To be fair, wasn’t the completely fabricated Birmingham story actually on CNN or something?

As far as I know there isn't anywhere in the UK that's a Muslim no-go zone. I remember seeing a black guy in Southhall and kind of nodding at each other, like hey neither of us Indian, and being quite amazed by this slightly eerie area of London where almost literally everybody was neither black OR white, just Asian for as long as the eye could see. But I bet hardly any of them were Muslims and it wasn't exactly like I was run out of town. People just noticed me, that's all.

Ha Ha ain't that the truth !!! Did you know that after finding out he had been lied to by an Asian mystic about his 'Gypsy heritage' and that he had ancestral links to the 'Robbins' family (He famously requested that boxrec change his name to the John Fury inspired 'Gypsy Henry Bobbins Dethingbow') He has now conveniently discovered through ancestry.com that the Gypsy family he actually has genetic ties to are the 'Loveridges' ! I can see him now in my minds eye, like an over excited boy on Christmas Eve full of glee, learning how to actually fight (well miles better than his most recent 'form' in his 47 second 'showing' against J'Leon Love! ) they will take him hare coursing and Cockerell fighting, teach him how to catch trout with just his bare hands, give him the closet space in the family trailer....Kind of reminds me of the last time Rufus used spiritual means in some Gypsy related endeavour, where he hired the expertise of a medium to make contact with the ten year departed soul of Bartley Gorman, where in his own words he asked a spirit that was supposedly Gorman's "Bartley, I honour and respect your fighting spirit, you were the greatest of all times ! You were the king of the Gypsies ! Bit you are dead now, you don't need the title and the recognition it brings, but I do ! Oh Bartley, let me inherit the title of King of the Gypsies from you so that I might be made great too ! Let me also inherit the legendary fighting spirit you used to ko Henry Francis ! And if you do grant me my wish Bartley I will forever keep your name alive, and tell and re tell your story until everyone gets bored of hearing it"

IT seems Bartley's 'spirit' didn't make good on his faustian deal with Rufus, Rufus still won't shut his pipe about Gorman but is still waiting to be the king of the Gypsies :brick:

According to Hen, the Amish are some deadly muthaf@ckers :oo

And 5 years later, is the UK an Islamic State with Shariah police yet, like Hen suggests?

Homi makes for some great reading, gotta give him that, brilliant thread, I think before he stopped posting here Trump was his new love affair :yay:
