Depends whats in the contract. It may well be that its in the contract that Pac Man can't let his hands go, would not be surprised. If there is nothing in the contract then Pacquiao will take take him out early. Mayweather played the game for a few rounds and enjoyed himself but Pac Man is a spiteful so and so

Age is a funny thing. Once you get past 40 a sudden decline can kick in at any time, often quite quickly. That's why these sorts of fights can be a bit of a lottery. McGregor could get lucky and find himself fighting a Pacquaio who is a pale shadow of what he was even a couple of years before.

If you stay fit and healthy age 40 is not an issue but 50, thats a different story. I speak as a 50 plus. I feel the aches and pains now but at 40 I was still pretty light on my feet. Just saying

So the fight would likely make it two years since Pacquiao had a 'real' fight and people here are all for it. I don't get it.

Fans aren't usually that magnanimous....they weren't with Mayweather and McGregor. Pacquiao's a current world champion who hasn't fought for nearly 15 months and people are happy to see him in a 'testimonial' fight. It just really surprises me.

I just think he’s had his day now, he’s still got enough to to hang with the younger guys but that could change overnight at his age so if the money is there for a novelty fight I’d say take it, the guys that moan about it just don’t understand the game, a guy that was first a world champion in the 90s and is still one now deserves the luxury to pick and choose.

I'm assuming that McGregor doesn't actually want to be a success in boxing but just wants to make millions by getting schooled by some ageing greats?
If he actually won a world title in boxing, that would be quite an amazing feat for an MMA guy and would further enhance his ego...and surely that's what McGregor is about isn't it??!

He makes a ton of money in the UFC. Only the big ones in boxing make cents.
