McCallum late stoppage. His chin could handle the heat and body shots wear down Marvin and his kryptonite.....Stamina.

Agree. Even though the Body Snatcher was the greater fighter overall than Johnson with his legacy at light middleweight and middleweight, he was past his prime at light heavyweight. Marvin Johnson would out-box him with his right jabs, left hands and combinations to take a decision in 15 rounds.

15? I was thinking 12 and torn. Marvin never went 15 as far as I can remember. He was measured with galindez in probably a career best winning performance, but after 8 he was usually spent. Good fight. Can't see Marvin outboxing Mike.

The only time Marvin Johnson went past 12 rounds was when he successfully once in third reign as WBA Light Heavyweight after stopping Jean Marie Emebe in 13 rounds.

I like Johnson big in this for the already stated reason that McCallum wasn't nearly at his best at 175.

Also like Johnson in this one. He was not hard to hit, but Johnson was a very good fighter and very underrated. Fun guy to watch.

Fight I forgot and have never seen. Still can't see Marvin outboxing Mike. He could surely win, but not by making Mike miss and jabbing him silly.
