Not well know never turned pro but Bernie mcdonagh old Robin Hood was the most skilful kid won 5/6 national titles it was said he use to beat up munroe in sparring stopped boxing at 18 traveler boy

Canadian heavyweight Larry Gains was based out of Leicester and beat Max Schemling and Primo Carnera.

Always funny when your old posts come up.

I wonder how Wickwar's career affected his health in later life. His Boxrec page said he passed away at 69 in 1980, which was probably about average then.
