Richard Lartey
For the upset this week?
Re: Richard Lartey
Would it really be an upset? Lartey was far more competitive and game against DDD than Gorman was.

He's a sort of Howard Eastman/Jean Marc Mormeck hybrid

Re: Richard Lartey
think gorman smokes him. stilll backing gorman to be fringe contender, If only he had longer arms I would be far more confident of that.. Crawford has a longer reach than him...

I was thinking the same thing. Odd piece of matchmaking, unless Lartey has lousy gym form or something. It would not seem terribly surprising if Lartey comes out and clobbers Gorman within 3 rounds. Which would kind of make Gorman a Pele Reid type figure.

Re: Richard Lartey
I’d quite like to see the weigh in first to see what kind of shape both of them are in. If Lartey’s in similar looking condition to when he fought Dubois and Gorman is looking any worse than when he fought Dubois (obviously not expecting him to be ripped but if he’s looking softer than previous) then I’ll have a small wager on Lartey.
Re: Richard Lartey
Lartey Vs Babic would be a fun scrap to watch

Re: Richard Lartey
Lartey was well up for the DD fight, throwing bombs ..Not sure what he’s been up to since then - he did look about 52 years old..
I Imagine Nate Gorm will try and stay out of trouble and bore us all to death ..here’s hoping he cops one early and turns it into a slug fest ..
Yes it seems a bit of a risky one compared to how they usually match their heavyweights: someone probably decided Nate is meant to be good, so sink or swim lets see how good he really is.

He's pretty crude is lartey, he can bang, but those shots are really wide looping shots.

All I think of when I read the name, is that it rhymes with 'farty.'
Re: Richard Lartey
I expect lartey to come out swinging , so if he hits gorman then I think its goodnite , but if gorman stays in the fight til later on then he should be able to outbox a fatigued lartey .

I think the same.

Re: Richard Lartey
I think Dubois lit a fire under Lartey's arse because he intimidated him, whereas Gorman won't, so I'm expecting a lacklustre performance from him. Gorman just needs to stay busy and safe, working towards a UD and taking the stoppage by fatigue if it comes.

Re: Richard Lartey
Gorman doesn't look in great shape even allowing for the fact he's no Adonis.
Re: Richard Lartey
Is this fight still on the card? There's only about 2 fights left from what I'm hearing.
