Of course. He's young, he has something to prove against at least Davis, Haney and Garcia there. His time to move up is to come later.

no. move up and beat josh taylor and/or Ramirez, grab a belt, then wait for Ryan, Devin, or Gervonta to move up or come back down fight one of them. By that time, Shakur will be 135 easily.

Didn’t the pre and post fight interviews pretty much confirm Lopez’s intention to make the jump to 140lbs for his next outing?

I personally don’t think he should do this, but by the sounds of things, this was always something they’d planned to do.

Surely not. As in surely he will not leave LW. He’s big and will dominate the division. He looked great last night, not skinny at all. Good fights to be made with Campbell, Barthelemy, and Fortuna. Possibly Haney at some point.

One or 2 more fights. He’s still young.

should defiantly fight Haney for undisputed before he moves up (he already kinda is, but kinda is undisputed is an oxymoron.). Id like to see him go after Tank, and Garcia too before he moves up, but depends how that weight cut is treating him i guess.

One advantage of going up is 2 of the top guys are toprank. so fights to be made..

I think if he could make weight better to stay at LW as long as possible, although I would love to see him fight , taylor, Ramirez, and Progris..

He should stay at 135 as long as he can reasonably make the weight. There are so many good fights at 135, I don't know why anyone would want him to move up. The winner of taylor ramirez will probably move up, maybe both. if that happens what is there at 140 that is really interesting? You are just waiting for 135ers to move up. i would rather they just fight at LW.

As I know, Lopez would like to face Taylor-Ramirez winner next. But, I predict that Taylor (or Ramirez) will try to get title(s) at WW (more lucrative, surely). So, everything here is very, very questionable................

I think for now, yes. As he gets older he may need to move up though or if there ends up not being anyone to make a good fight with at LW. He looks like he could still be big if he went up a weight, not sure if he'd lose some speed going up or not but that could be a factor.

Lightweight is hot.
Look at how many good match ups there are.
Top 10-12 or so fighters ...
You could make quality matches off that lot easily.
