Clever doing this on Friday, so it won't hit the BT card.. although that will be PPV.

They may as well add Warrington-Can to this card..

If Can can get a visa.. :brick:

British title contender Kieron 'Too Class' Conway (15-1-1, 3 KOs) clashes with WBC International Silver titlist Kieran Smith (16-0, 7 KOs) in a super-welterweight clash on the undercard.

Curious how Martin Murray magically appeared in the WBO top 15 in September...

I had zero interest in this the first two times they were supposed to fight. I have even less now.

Hearn needs to up his game

Typical Saunders calls out the top 160-168 pound fighters then fights nobodies or over the hill fighters. Saunders should lower his asking price. I wouldn't offer him anything over a million. he's not worth it.

Can someone please add a 'Who Gives a Shit' option to the poll please? :TU:

Absolute joke of a fight that tells us all about Saunders' level of ambition. As for Murray, by all accounts a lovely fella, but how many chances does one man get?! Think this is his fifth title attempt and certainly he's done nothing in the recent past to suggest it's been earned.

A bet on BJS by dec. is the only way to enjoy this fight.

Makes sense from BJS point of view, keep busy fight against a (once) credible opponent with relatively little risk. Then when he presumably shuts out Murray for a 120-108 he can use it as some kind of comparison to GGG’s performance against Murray when calling out GGG and Canelo before signing to fight a lower level opponent.

Is BJS really a super mid, or just a relatively undisciplined middleweight. I’d like to see him back at 160 there are some cracking fights for him against Eubank or Williams or even Liam Smith if he’s not too small.

A warm up fight presumably followed by 12 months of activity before he needs another warm up fight because of said inactivity.

It wasn't a good match when it was first muted - now well, can't see it being anything - shame as Murray was a good fighter in his pomp.

Who's Murrays trainer at the moment? I just can't see how they can train him to fight in the usual way, they must look at this fight and know that he cannot outbox Saunders, so what can he do different to make this any different from when he's been outboxed before

Since his loss to N'Dam, He's fought on 2 seperate MTK cards, at the Liverpool Olympia against Sladan Janjanin and Rui Manuel Pavanito.. Both went the 10 round distance..

He wasn't ranked in the 168 WBO in August.. Then his name became linked with BJS..

September he appears in the top 15..

Yep, woulda been a great fight years ago. :brick:
It's a shame, because it'll still be a good fight, but it's just so..., "meh".
I'll watch it - and probably enjoy it - but I'm looking forward to my appointment with the dental hygienist more.

The worst thing about this utterly unexciting match-up is that it is still BJS' best opposition in THREE YEARS. Jesus.

How have they dug up Martin Murray for this...FFS.
This is just a horrendous fight on paper and almost certainly in the ring.

Washed up Murray plodding forward with his high guard whilst Saunders pecks at him and runs around the ring... :brick:
