Betting thread
Re: Betting thread
Think Thomas Patrick Ward could well stop Essomba this weekend, he is much the bigger man Super-Bantam to Bantam and possibly Super-Flyweight. I know he don't punch according to the record but he lands frequently and not sure how much they will let Essomba take if Ward is at the top of his game. Taken the 4s Skybet and also had a bit of 3s not to go the distance just in case of head clashes etc. Realise Thomas is a very tough man but just thought the prices were too big. Perhaps I am just looking for a bet but seems worth the shot.
Re: Betting thread
Allen stoppage started at 1.33 this morning and has dropped already to 1.30. Surely there is no way the new Tye Fields finishes this one on his feet?

Re: Betting thread
honestly that seems alright, although i can never bring myself to bet on things much under evens. Seen any odds for Allen by stoppage in under 3 rounds? thats what i wanna bet but the site i use only has win or lose markets at the moment.
Re: Betting thread
Bet365 has Allen KO 1-2 at 1.87/1 and 3-4 at 2.76/1.gregregegg wrote: ↑27 Oct 2020, 18:57honestly that seems alright, although i can never bring myself to bet on things much under evens. I think the bookies will be taking a close look at the betting for any Allen fight moving forward.

Does anyone fancy Tureano Johnson against Jaime Munguia on Friday night? Can get 13/2 with Bet365 on either the decision or stoppage for Johnson if so.
Re: Betting thread
A 3-fold of Usyk inside the distance, Joyce to beat Dubois and Garcia to beat Campbell returns 13/1.

Re: Betting thread
Santa cruz to beat tank just keeps gaining value. 5.50 to win, or 13.0 for stopage, or my personal favourite 23.0 for
stopage in round 7-12. Tank is a beast, but has kinda regressed i think, and if leo just survive early, could wear him down. Selfishly Hoping for tank to have a shit time getting to 130....

Re: Betting thread
The odds for Rankin / Marshall are bizarre. Rankin's price varies between 8 & 10/1 v Marshall's price varies between 1/16 & 1/33
You can get a draw starting at 20's and some places doing 25's
Personally think Marshall gets found out in this fight and backed Rankin at 8's.

Have you seen any footage of Rankin at all? She's absolutely terrible.
One of the worst posts I've seen on here.

Marshal wins this.
Re: Betting thread
Joey Abell KO over Michael Coffie is 9-1 on Bet365. Coffie is big, strong and can punch a bit, but has faced nobody of note and looks pretty mediocre on video; Abell is 39 and long past his best but has fought at a far higher level and can really whack.
Re: Betting thread
12/1 on Skybet for the Ko, and if you want to muck about with the 1-4 and 5-8 Abell (which I did this morning) on Skybet it works out around 13.75/1 if my maths are close to being correct. Agree with what you said, Coffie is average but we don't know what Abell has left but he hits hard enough and will try as long as it lasts to land. Don't mind risking a tenner on bets like this, get a few up over the year and they more than pay for themselves. Good luck mate

The big Chinese heavy is fighting Devin Vargas this weekend. It's near evens to go over 4 rounds and 3 t 1 to go the distance. Vargas is shit but went the distance with fa a year ago and the chinaman is useless from what I've seen. Can anyone talk me put of throwing a few quid on that

Devin Haney 11/4 to go the distance tonight vs Yuriorkis Gamboa who has lost 3 times all by KO but against Crawford, Gervonta Davis and that was in the 12th.

Re: Betting thread
How good is Haney? I see a guy running in fights and looking open for counters. Gamboa is an extremely explosive individual who puts punches together and I don't believe Haney has the ability to outbox him. Have we all got this horribly wrong? I'll take a punt on Gamboa.
Re: Betting thread
Gamboa is 39, 2 weight divisions past his prime, shot to bits, and riddled with injuries - he's selling his name.TheLeprechaun wrote: ↑07 Nov 2020, 14:01 How good is Haney? Haney may not beat Loma and Teo, but he's at least a solid beltholder class looking to make a statement and get the big fights.
It would be a massive upset. If you fancy Gamboa to 'roll back the years' then take Haney by dec.

Re: Betting thread
I'm not sure he needs to "roll back the years". I see nothing impressive about Haney at all. The counter left hook from Gamboa is going to land cleanly. Haney might be able to run past the finish line if he stays away from Gamboa but I see Gamboa as the superior athlete and faster fighter. Haney is going to get clobbered with some explosive punches and start running. He telegraphs his punches. I could be out of the loop completely here but I see nothing impressive other than a guy who has fast feet and fights pretty negatively. I think Haney is a complete fraud. Gamboa by decision is my play. I also took some draw.skanksta wrote: ↑07 Nov 2020, 15:23Gamboa is 39, 2 weight divisions past his prime, shot to bits, and riddled with injuries - he's selling his name.TheLeprechaun wrote: ↑07 Nov 2020, 14:01 How good is Haney? Sure enough, Abell closes range, starts landing on him against the ropes in round 2...then injures his bicep following up and my bet is up in smokeGlobalBox wrote: ↑06 Nov 2020, 11:4812/1 on Skybet for the Ko, and if you want to muck about with the 1-4 and 5-8 Abell (which I did this morning) on Skybet it works out around 13.75/1 if my maths are close to being correct.
