I don't disagree with the thrust of your point but I think he's the man to make us see the best of Fury. Tyson has never boxed anyone with even a pinch of his own boxing wit. I think Usyk betters him on that front (maybe) but obviously has the physical disadvantages. It would be fascinating.

The 9th was decent for him. But it wasn't closer than 117-111.

Chisora started running out of steam after the 3rd and Usyk started coming on more and more.

Clear win for Usyk and a boxing lesson for Chisora

Yeah I agree. I’ve got it 10-2 Usyk but reckon we could see a 115-113.
2 judges had it 115-113 then. Ridiculous but at least the right winner.

Where do they get all those del rounds from? I thought he only took 1 clear and at best maybe another 1 or 2 if you are generous

Del didn't give him a struggle. He's obviously going to go 12 with these big guys, he was going 12 with cruiserweights. You've been on the ale?

Masterful boxer is usyk. Footwork is perfect, won 8 rounds at least. Hes still too small to go with the top big heavies.

Usyk would beat Joshua inside the distance. This fight was great for him..

ya agree, no idea what a lot of people are seeing. a struggle? del had a good start and then usyk outboxed him handily, never looked like any other result than a win for him

for me del won 3 rounds at tops, being generous

Could not disagree with you more. Chisora took a sound pasting there. He won 4 rounds at best and bar the opening 2 rounds Usyk controlled the fight.

I’m not saying that Usyk won’t struggle vs Fury or Joshua but if Cunningham and Ruiz can cause them problems then so can Usyk.

Great win by Usyk. Top heavyweights will still be a somewhat prohibitive test for him, though. 117 - 111.

Del DID give him a struggle.

He won wide and clear for sure, but the size and strength of Del definitely gave him issues.

I'd like to see him fight Wilder or Whyte next.

117-111 Usyk for me, fair dos to Chisora, apart from being able to KO Usyk he done about as good as he was capable of doing, put the pressure on early, made Usyk feel a few of they wild right hands, Usyk never looked like he enjoyed it and for 4 rounds it was looking pretty exciting, Usyk got into the groove though, started landing some sharp counters, put together some quality combinations, he hurt Chisora right at the end of one of the middle rounds, 7th was it? Bell saved Chisora, he was goosed in the corner

I thought Usyk would've tried harder to get the KO but he does play with his food a bit and throws a lot of pitty patty shots, when he sits down on his punches he cam whack though, just not enough of them tonight, Chisora gave it one last roll but Usyk clear winner for me, although I'm not surprised there was a closer card, people could like Chisora's aggression and not like Usyk's amateur style

Hearn had Chisora up so nothing surprises me anymore. Respect to Chisora - he stuck in there, came back into it and went the full 12, but I gave him 2 rounds. Deserves a farewell fight.

Fury grapples and leans with anyone lighter, and Usyk doesn't hit hard enough to rock him with singles, which he might be limited to with his shorter arms. I might even give Ruiz a better chance against Fury.

But against AJ he has everything but power. I think he has enough size and a good chin, but Chisora didn't respect his power, and that left Usyk relying on his movement and prediction skills. He's excellent at drawing leads, but so good at it he tends to not load up enough to punish them. But that's not his fault — he's a cruiser!
