why the bizzare reaction to usyk-chisora?
i dont get it, usyk won clearly and he's where the money is for them as an aj opponent, so why knock his legitimacy by telling everyone he lost?
what reason is there forr the total nonsense coming from the hearn/bellew circle jerk crew?

Re: why the bizzare reaction to usyk-chisora?
Just listened to 30 seconds of a Hearn interview and he said ‘Haye and Bellew thought Chisora won’ ... his manager and best mate then.
As for the fight, I thought Usyk won 10-2. Chisora started well and deserves credit for sticking in there when it looked as if he was out on his feet round 7ish.

Re: why the bizzare reaction to usyk-chisora?
ya saw the fight similar myself, don't reall understand the close scores or the talk of usyk struggling, he was in control after like 2 rounds, i watched the whole fight without commentary and mostly off forum and then came on to find that and the nonsense from hearn and co

Re: why the bizzare reaction to usyk-chisora?
isnt usyk with matchroom ?
Re: why the bizzare reaction to usyk-chisora?
Yeah but I suspect that’s more so they can navigate him away from AJ/get him to step aside.

The way Bellew reacted was strange, he was almost calling robbery and said some really bizarre stuff about judges. What was worse is Sky gave him almost ten mins of air time to spout his bullshit.
Delboy was windmilling at time’s and was missing by a country mile with a lot of his shots.
Nelson then said something to the effect of “ AJ won’t be worried in the slightest after seeing that tonight, notice he didn’t hang around after. He had a quick look at him (USYK ) and thought that’s fine I’ve seen all I need, no worries “

Either they want to try and build a rematch or they're trying to build the narrative that Usyk is beatable, for the next low quality PPV where he fights Whyte.

Yeah, there's some angle for sure.Black Sam Bellamy wrote: ↑01 Nov 2020, 06:22 Either they want to try and build a rematch or they're trying to build the narrative that Usyk is beatable, for the next low quality PPV where he fights Whyte.
Usyk needs more work at Heavyweight anyway, it's all about Fury-Joshua once they hopefully get past their tune-ups.

Probably just trying to keep Chisora credible as a PPV fighter, even though he loses every single time he steps up in class.

Re: why the bizzare reaction to usyk-chisora?
Genuinely think that Bellew, Hearn, Coldwell etc are too scared to tell Chisora he lost well
Re: why the bizzare reaction to usyk-chisora?
Matchroom are biased mofos, especially with that dumba$$ Tony Bellend. The judges were corrupt. Yet Usyk won so wide, that it wasn't possible to rob him on cards, just a ridiculously close score.

Maybe they can try and dodge him, saying he struggled got lucky with Del? I think he’d give AJ lots of problems, he won clearly IMO
Re: why the bizzare reaction to usyk-chisora?
chisora didnt do what he said he would ie knock usyk out
Usyk did what he said ie box
and he won by a wide enough margin , chisora lost the fight and has also lost his dignity with the stupid claim that he did enough to win .

Re: why the bizzare reaction to usyk-chisora?
Well, Usyk was the away fighter. And Chisora has become very popular. Maybe that’s why.

Re: why the bizzare reaction to usyk-chisora?
Bellew is a moron. Why does he get so much airtime
Re: why the bizzare reaction to usyk-chisora?
I know I've said it before but that really is the last time I listen to that biased bull commentry
There is no way there is any case for del winning more than 3rounds
Who do they think they are talking to
It insults our intelligence

Re: why the bizzare reaction to usyk-chisora?
Probably because Hearn knows he can’t get anyone else to make themselves look so stupid by constantly praising him, his company, his shows etc.

Re: why the bizzare reaction to usyk-chisora?
I’m still trying to work out why chisora warrants being called a ppv fighter
Re: why the bizzare reaction to usyk-chisora?
Off course - as Eddie sang a few weeks ago - its all about the £19.95.Boxerbeetle wrote: ↑01 Nov 2020, 06:47 Probably just trying to keep Chisora credible as a PPV fighter, even though he loses every single time he steps up in class.
I don't blame him with no crowds really, got to be making quite big losses otherwise.
He doesn't have many fighters close to PPV - they'll package Usyk as the 3rd best Heavyweight in the world and will get Chisora out there as a PPV attraction for running the 3rd best Heavyweight close.

Yeah Hearn won’t be getting any money off mestujones wrote: ↑01 Nov 2020, 09:57Off course - as Eddie sang a few weeks ago - its all about the £19.95.Boxerbeetle wrote: ↑01 Nov 2020, 06:47 Probably just trying to keep Chisora credible as a PPV fighter, even though he loses every single time he steps up in class.
