There are no judges, the only possible victory would be a dq if one of them tried to hurt the other.

I wish I knew some of the people who were buying this so I could sell them a VHS Copy of Muhammad Ali vs Mike Tyson for 30 bucks

I actually had a kid that argued with me like 20 years ago that swore up and down his Dad had that fight on tape back at the house. I told him this was impossible in explicit detail, and he just kept doubling down on it

I can't imagine it gets over 10k buys. Probably get a bunch of streams. I'm mildly interested in Paul/Robinson. Those Paul fights are entertaining. Obviously not anything near top boxing but they take it seriously.

Yeh. Paul seems serious about boxing. But so far he’s only fought a fellow Youtube and now a basketballer or Footballer?

Want to see him fight KSI.

I mix them up, but Robinson is like 5'5 or so but he could dunk. Should be a banger. Lol, hopefully they put this on somewhere after Jones/,Tyson gets cancelled.

What's the difference? It's Floyd against a beginner.

I'm appalled by BT Sports' decision to broadcast a sparring session between two fighters in their fifties, that have been inactive for several years, having suffered stoppage defeats against journeymen during the final outings of their respective careers, as a PPV event.

really not interested in watching 2 men in their mid fifties trying to not hurt each other (even less if they try).

to further elaborate...🤪

jones & tyson are true legends, icons of our favourite sport. luckily with more or less all their faculties still intact.

in their prime both were uniquely gifted physical specimen ruling & transcending the sport with speed & power like only a handful others did.

i'm sure they both can still punch with reasonable speed & plenty power but
all them stem cell therapies & testosterone cures didn't magically grow them each a new pair of stable & swift legs.

boxing is and always will be a young men's sport that needs excruciating preparation & training to be entertained at the top level.

they definitely trained unbelievably hard to convince themselves they can do it one more time but both were already absolutely shot at least a decade ago.

whatever.... just not interested.

Mine was scored at 137, but even if yours is off the chart, you still don't know shite about boxing. You may excel in other areas, but certainly not in gerontology, physiology or fighting arts.

IQ scores are pretty irrelevant anyway.

I'll bet Jones turns up looking pretty soft. He apparently cant run any more because his knees are shut.

Tyson and Jones Jr unhappy with two-minute

Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr say fighting two-minute rounds "is for women" as they prepare for their exhibition fight at the Staples Centre on 28 November.

Weren't it up to them to decide a length of the rounds, when they were signing to this? I don't think, that exibitions have some strict rules. Or was it proposed by a comission?

CSAC have worked quite closely with this.. and of course, the WBC....

Back in July, the CSAC's Andy Foster claimed they shouldn't mislead the public by pretending the Tyson-Jones Jr. exhibition bout was a real fight, because it was never going to be.

Mike and Roy both accepted the terms of the exhibition a very long time ago, and these veterans didn't complain about these rules back then. So I'm guessing that Tyson and Jones Jr. are only feigning outrage for the sake of promotional purposes.

Regardless of whatever the WBC thinks they're hoping to achieve with their silly remote scoring in order to award a meaningless belt to the person they deem as being the "victor", since they're merely seeking to receive a sanctioning fee, the CSAC has already stated there'll be no judges, no winner and no knockout.

It's only an exhibition... a sparring session between two really old men that used to be great fighters, having a total combined age of 105 years.

All based on 10 second clips of hitting a bag.
Nobody said he's a better boxer, he's in better shape than he was. Clearly leaner now than when he last fought.
That's meaningless.

Muhammad Ali looked in great shape prior to the Holmes fight, but he was a hollow shell.
