Is wilder suffering from TBI?

Post by Steveh583 »

His accusations and behaviour.... kind of reminds me of jermaine taylor. Do you think he is suffering or is it just his ridiculous misplaced ego?

It is a narcissistic trait- not being able to accept failure and placing blame on everything and everyone except himself.
Then factor Wilder is surrounded by a cheerleading team who will enable this behaviour.

Whether it is just delusion or something more deeply imbedded is hard to say, but it is worrying that he has reacted this way to the defeat.

At the very least he will not learn from it and improve the way some fighters do, at worst he could be heading for a breakdown.

The latter would be a very sad thing considering he has a family to take care of.

I'm not suprised really - he's had this mindset that he cannot lose that he has engrained since he turned pro. A number of fighters struggle with defeat mentally, but let alone someone so convinced he would never be beaten.

A do worry about Tyson Fury's mental health should he lose - he's also had this mindset that he is beyond beatable.

It’s certainly a misplaced belief in Wilder’s case, considering his skills are so poor. He’s looked like losing a fair few times before bailing himself out with a huge right hand, even against poor opposition.

He was never going to respond well to being KO'd. Breland will have known that this was going to be Wilders reaction and still did it. Fair play to him, acted like a true trainer would. Wilder has more maturing to do but it will take time. In 15-20 years he will be calling Breland up and apologizing.

Good to see him finally admit he turned down the Joshua fight, hopefully Breland takes him to the cleaners, he's a disgrace, thousands of fighters get beat, stopped, KTFO and dont make the ludicrous accusations Wilder has made, what a little bitch

He needs to be quiet, immediately. Embarrassing himself hugely with all of this bollocks.

I worry that's a possibility.
