Personally yeah, given the circumstances and the shape Derek is in, I think it would be a good replacement.

No. Chisora lost to Whyte decisively last time and has just been whooped by Usyk, while less than a month left for the Whyte event.

Hunter sounds nice. Even Lovejoy would be a fun. Or Whyte against Fury in December.

I’d watch it on regular Sky, wouldn’t pay extra for it.

I'd watch it but it shouldn't be the first option. I'd even rather Whyte Vs someone else who's slightly worse than Chisora because atleast it's some variety. Someone like Hunter, Kabayel, Takam, Bakole or Hughie (I wouldn't actually watch that one) would be preferable. Maybe even a lower level if there was some intrigue to it.

Eddie said on his live Instagram that he wondered if Lovejoy came over just for a bit of publicity.

Ironically that’s pretty much why Eddie has any dealings with Allen

It won't be surprising if so.

Out of the options available at this time I'd like Hunter to step in personally, he's said he will take the fight for free

I would rather see Dillian face Alen Babic than a 3rd Chisora fight at this time.

Why do so many fighters use this soundbite ? None of them ever mean it .

In an attempt to generate attention around their name I suppose! Either way I see Hunter as a logical replacement.

Be a good scrap. Would chisora be cleared medically? 3 weeks after a fight where he didn’t get badly hurt but defiantly got a bit staggered once or twice. (People probably get that hurt sparing 3 weeks out a fair bit, shouldn’t but).

Whyte vs fury or Whyte vs wilder is clearly the best option... Ortiz good option (got a fight booked but could ditch that shambles) chisora is a decent option, hunter and Ruiz decent options. Sadly I don’t think we will see these.

And they know no commission that licences boxing would allow it.

Not a chance at such short notice but in saying that I thought the same about Fury’s fight and he’s facing someone miles better than who I thought he would face.

It sounds crazy and might be, but if they fought in December I think Whyte has the potential to be Fury's toughest opponent so far. Obviously not on paper, but the Klitschko rematch didn't happen and Wilder wasn't at the races mentally, so that leaves Chisora.

I think Whyte'd have a go and we rarely see that from Fury's opponents.

Whyte and Chisora put in two great fights. However I don’t think either factor in each other’s plans. Whyte can simply wait a few more months to get his hands on Povetkin. No point rushing things in boxing.

Am I the only person that doesn't mind it? The first two fights were pretty good. Any boxing match where both fighters give their all is worth watching for me, and both are game f*ckers if nothing else. I'd like to see Dereck finally gain revenge over Whyte. He won the first fight on my card and was winning the rematch until he got sparked.

I'll get my coat.

It would be a good fight for sure, and fighting is always better than not fighting, if the Fury fight doesn't happen for Whyte, what better options are there?
