Uh oh. Looks like you just outed yourself. MayorMatchstickSnowden. We have a policy against people with multiple accounts.
Re: Vitali Klitscko round differential
Lol, this new guy with 3 accounts is funny. Discussions of Vitali have completely degenerated on the forum. Once we had the biased hater Alpy. Now we have the troll-worshipper with 3 accounts on the other side. Vitali threads got just surreal.

Ali raymi had to have a fantastic round differential!
Re: Vitali Klitscko round differential
Didn't he lose the first round to Hide? Pretty sure he did.

Re: Vitali Klitscko round differential
Assuming the OP is accurate this is very impressive. Has they every been a boxer at any weight class who has this type of rounds won to rounds loss ratio? Not even judge Adalaide Byrd could rob him on the cards.

he coulda won 151 rounds out of 151, what's a more telling number is 0 wins over really good fighters and half his f@cking face shredded off by the 1 great he fought (who was past his best already and out of shape)
Re: Vitali Klitscko round differential
Prepping for an easy fight with Kirk Johnson, and obviously half assing his camp, but still had enough to beat the mighty Vit.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑04 Nov 2020, 21:43 he coulda won 151 rounds out of 151, what's a more telling number is 0 wins over really good fighters and half his f@cking face shredded off by the 1 great he fought (who was past his best already and out of shape)

Re: Vitali Klitscko round differential
So in other words Vitali who took the fight on two weeks notice was at a disadvantage. He had some no name lined up for a 10 round match, Lewis was at least prepping for 12. Vitali made Lewis look bad, as he was down 4-2 on the cards. Johnson would not have looked as good vs Lewis.gilgamesh wrote: ↑04 Nov 2020, 21:48Prepping for an easy fight with Kirk Johnson, and obviously half assing his camp, but still had enough to beat the mighty Vit.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑04 Nov 2020, 21:43 he coulda won 151 rounds out of 151, what's a more telling number is 0 wins over really good fighters and half his f@cking face shredded off by the 1 great he fought (who was past his best already and out of shape)
Re: Vitali Klitscko round differential
People keep talking about those cards, while they didn't even pay attention to a disagreement of the judges. The scores weren't identical despite the same final score, which gives a hint to the fact, that the fight had been close enough. The 5th could be easily given to Lewis. I have it 3-3. It was a close fight, where Vitali was looking worse through the progress of it.pound per pound wrote: ↑05 Nov 2020, 14:20So in other words Vitali who took the fight on two weeks notice was at a disadvantage. If anything Lennox was at a disadvantage. Vitali was in better shape.pound per pound wrote: ↑05 Nov 2020, 14:20So in other words Vitali who took the fight on two weeks notice was at a disadvantage. Most in the media have it 4-2. All three judges had it 4-2 as well. Lewis was winded after the bell rang. Close rounds are part of boxing. Vitali out-landed Lewis in jabs, power punches, and total punches landed.

I prefer to see it that both men raised their stock.
For Lewis it was the best opponent he beat. Tyson was washed up, and Holyfield in decline.
For Vitali he proved he belonged and was in the lead.
What the fans wanted was a re-match. Lewis initially said he'd offer one. Boy would that have been a highly anticipated fight. All excitement came to a screeching halt when the WBC ordered the re-match, and Lewis quickly retired shortly after that.

Re: Vitali Klitscko round differential
Rami needs his own thread! He was champion of the UBO belt at light flyweight and the IBI belt at straw weight. If you thought the WBC, WBA, IBF, WBO and WBU were too much, think again. I am a boxing fan and I never heard of the UBO or IBI.
Rami's only mainstream ranking alphabet ranking I am aware of if you can call it that was from the WBA at 11th, who did it after Rami had past away. Yes the WBA ranked a dead man.
I doubt Rami never lost a round. He took the legendary Prince Maz, and 8-1 and 8-2 fighters, 7 and 9 rounds respectively.
Re: Vitali Klitscko round differential
Lewis clearly landed more damaging shots there. One judge had the 5th for Lewis, but somehow gave the 3rd to Klitschko. 3, 5, 6 should be for Lewis. Klitschko was battered after the final bell. A quite even fight overall, while it had been getting worse for Vitali.pound per pound wrote: ↑07 Nov 2020, 11:25 Most in the media have it 4-2. All three judges had it 4-2 as well. It's funny that all these years later this fight still comes up once every 2 months on here somehow.DrDuke wrote: ↑07 Nov 2020, 12:16Lewis clearly landed more damaging shots there. Re: Vitali Klitscko round differential
Still arguably the best Heavyweight fight so far of the 21st century.
Joshua vs Wlad was fantastic as well, and one that people kinda sleep on, but was also a damn good fight in it's own right was Lamon Brewster vs Sergei Liakhovich.
Re: Vitali Klitscko round differential
Lewis-Klitschko is still the best for me. However, Fury-Wilder II is close, but it's probably the most pleasing, not the best overall, cause it wasn't competetive.
