I don’t buy that Owen didn’t look the part. I’ve seen other fighters that look almost emaciated, the Mexican who decked Frampton for example.

The announcers for the Pintor fight were going on and on about how skinny he was.

They called him "atrociously thin" and said he "looks like a stiff wind would blow him straight into the English channel."

Plus his nickname "Matchstick". He must have been skinny, no?

Sure, he was. You couldn't say he wasn't skinny and then some. I'm just saying that it doesn't mean he wasn't suited to being a fighter. You do see really thin builds in the lighter weights sometimes.

No doubt the guy was a fighter. Had the heart of a lion, quick hands and a boatload of stamina.
