Biggest fight of the year and you are MIA. No prediction i saw, no breakdowns, no analysis.

Which fight did I fail to make a prediction on?

And if the facts I've cited regarding heavyweights competing in title fights are inaccurate, then could you please detail the errors?

I’m pretty sure you’ll flatly refuse to even attempt to directly answer these relatively simple questions.
Lomachenko v lopez. I didnt see you commenting on that fight, how it goes, what your score was etc. You come on and like to troll GGG and crawford opponents, claim big guys are great hw, pump up pbc, but i dont think you routinely watch fights.

The fact deontay wilder is routinely under the bogus new weight and held a title for 5 years and has a draw with fury is all you would need to know

You talk about business of boxing (i dont think you work in business - do you?)

I never get the sense you actually enjoy watching the sport or understand the actual boxing

Do you watch it? How often?

Here's what I wrote on the 6th January.
Enlightened-One wrote: 06 Jan 2020, 11:44 There’s an awful lot of YouTube videos of Teofimo Lopez either actually sparring or discussing his sparring sessions against the likes of Gervonta Davis, Yordenis Ugas, Jaron Ennis, Rolando Romero, Janelson Figueroa, Ashley Theophane and Devin Haney.

Could he better than his record and recent performances inside the ring suggest? Perhaps he’s able to raise his game to a level where he’s actually capable of competing against Vasyl Lomachenko.

Some fighters, such as Tyson Fury, tend to compete according to the calibre of opposition they face. The bigger the challenge, the better they perform. We’ll find out soon enough whether this rule also applies to Lopez. The calibre of the guys he’s sparring against suggest that we haven’t seen the very best of him yet and that he's more experienced than his resume portrays him to be.

Also, I’m not entirely sure whether 135lbs is Vasyl Lomachenko’s ideal weight class, because he’s looked better and far more dominant when he competed in the 126lbs to 130lbs divisions.

Anyway, I’m going to predict a tougher than expected decision victory for Vasyl Lomachenko against the 22-year-old prospect.
I didn't watch this fight live, because I didn't want to pay the PPV fee.

That is my point. You wrote something in January. During the lead up no posts from you on the matchup, no comments on looking forward to it... do you enjoy boxing, the actual sport? Or just the business?

You accuse me of remaining silent and refusing to make a prediction for the outcome of the Lomachenko-Lopez bout, without bothering to fact-check your own claim.

When I proved you wrong by citing one of my posts on the matter, you continue to criticise me and also flatly-refused to quote your own prediction, so we could compare the quality of our pre-analysis of the fight.

And despite me proving you wrong multiple times in this thread, to the point you cannot refute anything I wrote, you then seem to think I owe you an answer to another bizarre question you’ve posed.

There’s something wrong with you!

Undisputed Confusion

The new weight class is only being introduced by the WBC at the moment. This leads to confusion when it comes to undisputed champions. As things stand, the undisputed champion in a weight class has to hold the WBC, WBA, WBO and IBF belt. For example, when Oleksander Usyk beat Murat Gassiev, he became the undisputed cruiserweight champion. It begs the question, how will undisputed be determined with the new weight class?

That's acctually an easy 1. Only the wbc recognizes it so you only need the wbc belt to be undisputed.

What a terrible decision. Nobody will stay in CW now as there will be even less money now than before. Most of the casuals will think that HW and Super HW is just the same, nobody will care about the CW.

What boxing needs it's actually much less weight categories.

It means the people responsible for it are deserving of a swift kick in the balls every hour, on the hour until the day they die hopefully an uncomfortable death due to internal bleeding from horrendously ruptured balls.

"Deontay Wilder likely to get first crack at new WBC super cruiserweight title"

Former heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder is moving closer to a shot at becoming a two-weight ruler following the WBC formation of a new division.

Nicknamed ‘Bridger,’ after a young boy who saved his sister from a dog attack, there will effectively be a new super cruiserweight weight class.

Wilder, who regularly hits the scales just shy of the new 224-pound limit, will undoubtedly be given the first refusal to be involved in the kick-off championship bout.

Discussing the possibility of moving down to cruiserweight in the past, it’s now been made a whole lot easier for Wilder to become a two-weight king.

Speaking in 2018, Wilder said: “What’s up boxing world. You know I’ve just been sitting in my car thinking.

“I’ve been thinking about, once I unify the heavyweight division, moving down to the cruiserweight. Taking over that division.

“There’s never been a heavyweight ever go down in weight. I mean just for the fun of it. Just take over the cruiserweight division while maintaining the heavyweight division.” WBC title

‘The Bronze Bomber’ has been left in limbo by the collapse of a trilogy versus Tyson Fury of late.

This means Wilder has the distinct consolation of moving away from the massive heavyweights. As Anthony Joshua, Andy Ruiz Jr., and others continue to get bigger and bigger in the top division and outweigh those who cannot make 200 pounds; it’s becoming tougher for the likes of Wilder to compete.

This was evident last February when Fury pummeled Wilder in seven one-sided rounds to take the green and gold belt in the glamor division.

Disputing the victory of late, Wilder believes foul play was evident throughout the fight. These are as yet unsubstantiated claims.

Reports are already circling that Oleksandr Usyk will be approached to face Wilder. However, the Ukrainian does have a high-profile mandatory with Joshua that will be worth a hell of a lot more money.

It’s far more likely that Wilder will face a lesser name to get a firm grip on the strap. To defend it against the bigger names later on.

Previously, Wilder ruled at heavyweight for five years. He could similarly be aiming for a swansong reign in his career at the Bridgerweight limit.

All will be revealed soon.
