Terence Crawford: RELENTLESS | FULL EPISODE
During the interview, Crawford discusses his desire to fight the other welterweight world champions, his win-at-all-costs mentality, and his legacy as a three-weight world champion and the fighter many experts regard as the pound-for-pound king.
Crawford said, “I always ask people, ‘What’s your why? Why do you do the things you do?’ Because I know mine. I’ve gotta feed my family. You’re not gonna take food off my family’s table. That’s my why. It’s my family.
“There’s nothing in this world that I can do or participate in that I don’t want to win in. If I’m gonna do it, I want to do it to win. People doubting you, everybody looking at you like you’re gonna be another nothing, so it just made me hungry.”
Relentless: Terence Crawford will be preceded by ESPN, Updating the Welterweight Division, an in-depth look at one of boxing’s most talent-rich divisions, airing at 8:30 p.m. ET on ESPN.
Crawford-Brook headlines a packed card that will feature the WBA super flyweight world title rematch between champion Joshua Franco and the man he defeated to win the title, Andrew Moloney. Crawford-Brook and Franco-Moloney 2 and the return of junior welterweight knockout sensation Elvis Rodriguez will be broadcast live on ESPN and ESPN Deportes at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. ET, with undercard action to stream live on ESPN+ at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT.

I’d be pissed off if I paid for Sky and BT sports already, but I don’t mind throwing the odd tenner at a one-off website. Excited for this now one decent undercard fight announced so far but sure there’ll be more added.
Brook will be bang up for this and I honestly thought he looked good in his last fight, and that DeLuca wasn’t a bag of shite like people said. Crawford is due on off night and has been very inactive, I can’t see Brook winning but it will be close early on.
If I’m locked down at least I can sit and watching some fights all night

Yes , he looked a shadow of himself to me , hopefully he can roll back the years and make a fight of it .Switch hitter wrote: ↑10 Nov 2020, 04:21Against Deluca ?? . Thought he looked good once he found his timing.

I've always believed Brook to be one of the biggest waste of talents this counties produces and going off the DeLuca and Zerafa performances he's missed the boat, I'd love to see him pull out one last showing and give Crawford his best but I just cant see it, as good a shape as Brook looks Crawford will be better, quicker, sharper, more polished, in form, lock stock the facking lot, think it will get too hot to handle in the end and Crawford sends Brook out on his shield late on

I see it finishing similarly mate but from an entertainment standpoint I'm hoping Brook can find another big performance from somewhere to push Bud all the way. Hope Crawford fcuks Top Rank off soon as he's eluded to and we can see the top men at 147 in the ring together in 2021.handsofstone wrote: ↑10 Nov 2020, 18:28 I've always believed Brook to be one of the biggest waste of talents this counties produces and going off the DeLuca and Zerafa performances he's missed the boat, I'd love to see him pull out one last showing and give Crawford his best but I just cant see it, as good a shape as Brook looks Crawford will be better, quicker, sharper, more polished, in form, lock stock the facking lot, think it will get too hot to handle in the end and Crawford sends Brook out on his shield late on

Good fight. Suspect Crawford will do enough to edge a UD. 117ish.

I dont think we are going the distance on this one ..

I would say Brook has probably left a lot in the gym getting his weight down, and at his age I can't see any upset happening at this stage of his career.
If he has a good start, there is a chance, but I can't see Crawford letting Brook get his own way for too long.

Agree with that.Twinkle Toes wrote: ↑11 Nov 2020, 09:48 I would say Brook has probably left a lot in the gym getting his weight down, and at his age I can't see any upset happening at this stage of his career.
Crawford is obviously a top fighter but his resume at 147 isn't great and Kavaliauskas should have had a knockdown scored against him in his last fight. He'll still be too much for Brook though, late stoppage or wide UD.

The picture is current. Look at the top rank Instagram.
Kell is in great shape and crawford has chin issues. More importantly crawford has never fought a proper welter weight before.
Bookies have it 10-1 , I'm having some of that.

Re: Terence Crawford vs. Kell Brook - 14 November 2020
I see it as an 85/15 fight for Crawford
This is not a peak Kell Brook but equally crawford is arguably 30+ and will have peaked already. Kell wont win on points so he has to win early, to win early he has to tag bud big early and gain his respect. in my heart i want Kell to jump on Crawford early and batter him, In reality we may see Kell say 'enough is enough' after about 9 rounds. First 3 rounds will be very very interesting.

Good fight on paper. Remember Brook was rated #1 welterweight before he was sacrificed to Golovkin. Then got his other cheek fractured by Spence. Crawford has looked pretty special lately, but is due a good test.
Go on Kell, one last Hurrah!

Judges, Ref Revealed For Fight
Judge: Patricia Morse Jarman (Nevada)
Judge: Dave Moretti (Nevada)
Judge: Benoit Roussel (Quebec)
Referee: Tony Weeks (Nevada)
--------------------------------
Morse Jarman has been one of boxing’s busiest, most consistent judges since the sport resumed during the COVID-19 pandemic June 9.
She has judged 50 fights in the Top Rank/ESPN “Bubble” over the past five months at MGM Grand Conference Center, where the Crawford-Brook card will take place.
In one title fight during that time, she had Jamel Herring ahead of Jonathan Oquendo, 80-70, when Oquendo was disqualified during the eighth round September 5. Judges Tim Cheatham (80-70) and Julie Lederman (79-71) had Cincinnati’s Herring way ahead as well, although Puerto Rico’s Oquendo appeared to be gaining momentum prior to his disqualification.
She previously scored Joshua Franco a 114-113 winner over Andrew Moloney on June 23. Lederman (115-112) and Moretti (114-113) also scored that fight for Franco.
San Antonio’s Franco (17-1-2, 8 KOs) will make the first defense of the WBA world super flyweight title he won from Australia’s Moloney (21-1, 14 KOs) in their immediate rematch on the Crawford-Brook undercard Saturday night.
Moretti, meanwhile, has submitted a couple cards since June 9 that aren’t consistent with his reputation as one of boxing’s better judges.
He scored the Mike Plania-Joshua Greer Jr. bout a draw, 94-94, on June 16. Cheatham (96-92) and Morse Jarman (97-91) both scored that fight for the Philippines’ Plania (24-1, 12 KOs), who beat Chicago’s Greer (22-2-1, 12 KOs) by majority decision in their 10-rounder.
Five weeks later, Moretti only had Oscar Valdez ahead of Jayson Velez by one point, 85-84, when Mexico’s Valdez (28-0, 22 KOs) stopped Puerto Rico’s Velez (29-7-1, 21 KOs) in the 10th round July 21. Morse Jarman (89-80) and Steve Weisfeld (88-81) had Valdez ahead much more comfortably when their scheduled 10-rounder ended.
On August 29, Moretti scored the Jose Ramirez-Viktor Postol fight a draw, 114-114.
Cheatham (115-113) and Weisfeld (116-112) each gave Ramirez credit for winning that 12-round, 140-pound championship match for Ramirez’s WBC and WBO belts. Ramirez (26-0, 17 KOs), of Avenal, California, defeated Ukraine’s Postol (31-3, 12 KOs) by majority decision.
In Roussel’s most recent high-profile fight, he scored IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua a 118-110 victor over Andy Ruiz Jr. in their immediate rematch last December 7 in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia. England’s Joshua (23-1, 21 KOs) beat Ruiz (33-2, 22 KOs), of Imperial, California, by big margins on the cards of judges Glenn Feldman (118-110) and Steve Gray (119-109) as well.
Six weeks earlier, Roussel scored the 12-round, 140-pound title unification bout between Josh Taylor and Regis Prograis a draw, 114-114. The two other judges – Italy’s Matteo Montella (117-112) and Mexico’s Alfredo Polanco (115-113) – scored that fight for Scotland’s Taylor (17-0, 13 KOs), who beat New Orleans’ Prograis (25-1, 21 KOs) by majority decision in October 2019 at O2 Arena in London.

For what it’s worth, Jeff Horn was a very big welterweight.

he was..
Also, Crawford may have fought at Lightweight, what 7 years ago?
He is still a big welterweight himself..
Egidijus Kavaliauskas was a genuine welter
Amir Khan came from the 135 division just like TC
Re: Terence Crawford vs. Kell Brook - 14 November 2020
For me since Mayweather's / Andre Ward's retirement, I'd have Crawford as P4P number #1 - find it increasingly difficult to make a case for an alternative now - perhaps Inoue. I do agree though that I thought he jumped up to Welter a bit too soon.
Re: Terence Crawford vs. Kell Brook - 14 November 2020
I really hope Brook does it. I don't think he's got much chance, but fingers crossed!

Re: Terence Crawford vs. Kell Brook - 14 November 2020
Crawfords opponents haven't been good. I remember after he beat Burns he went and fought Gamboa in his next fight. I thought this was such a breath of fresh air because you knew Burns was going to hog the belt and defend against some tepid opponents in unwatchable fights. Burns Gamboa wouldn't have been made in a million years. Since then he's had a very weak schedule. The likes of Errol Spence has put him to shame in terms of opponents. Crawford needs to step up his opponent level. Brook is a good start.
