Farooq probably ate too many daft shots but overall I thought he was phenomenal, the engine and variety were 1st class

Farooq embarrasingly has zero power. Very feather fisted. Dennis Mccann would have had that punchbag out of there in 2 rounds.

He was very good indeed, I'm not even gonna mark him down for not getting the stoppage.
Aviles is just a ridiculously stubborn fooker

I don't quite see the hype myself, not enough power, easy to hit and marks up easily - He's going to be in for some entertaining fights that's for sure.

Gotta worry that Farooq will be the next Paul Butler type. Looks good against fellow Brits, and second rate South American imports, but can't get the respect of the top guys. His lack of power will be a major issue against the likes of Oubaali, Casimero, Inoue, Rigo, Donaire, Moloney, Rodriguez, Tete Etc.
Very skilled, great work rate, fantastic fighter to watch, but that lack of real pop could hold him back at the top level IMO.

You have very low standards.. From watching that I've no idea how he even had a close fight with Mcgregor. He has no power whatsoever, that lack of power will stop him getting past domestic level. Pus his defence is poor. A big Puncher would laugh at his shits and walk through hi,Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑14 Nov 2020, 15:23 Top boxer 𝑭𝒂𝒓𝒐𝒐𝒒.. don’t know how he never got that Lee McGregor decision.

I don’t know about that. He had 4 British title wins and won 3 of them by stoppage. He must have some pop in his shots.Stanny Onis wrote: ↑14 Nov 2020, 16:01 Farooq embarrasingly has zero power. Very feather fisted. Dennis Mccann would have had that punchbag out of there in 2 rounds.

I thought of Paul Butler watching him and that's not a bad level to reach tbf.Boxing Prospect wrote: ↑14 Nov 2020, 16:04 Gotta worry that Farooq will be the next Paul Butler type. Echoing others, with such limited power I don't see him hitting the big time.

Cullen looks massive or are my eyes off?
Re: Round-by-Round: Katie Taylor vs. Miriam Gutierrez - 14 November 2020
Cullen has a Prince Arron vibe arbout him.

Cullen wins the 2nd round - good fight...

Fair step up this for Docherty, might be a bit too soon

Cullen 2-1. 28-28 with the KD in round 1. Docherty cut by left eye. Come on the upset!
Re: Round-by-Round: Katie Taylor vs. Miriam Gutierrez - 14 November 2020
38-37 LLMC for me.
It's close whatever.

Both fighters are pretty average area level fighters. could go either day,
Re: Round-by-Round: Katie Taylor vs. Miriam Gutierrez - 14 November 2020
I have Cullen sweeping 2-5 after the KD. I could be biased.

Stanny Anus doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Kash does carry power, he just needs to plant his feet.. he didn’t really do that much, he wasn’t moving a lot here and boxing.maverick23 wrote: ↑14 Nov 2020, 16:07I don’t know about that. Also, boxing isn’t about power.. it’s boxing isn’t it?
Don’t know where this Stanny Anus came from, but he’s not exactly a welcoming type on this forum. Negative vibes on all posts.

Cullen is well ahead for me. Docherty timing well off since the cut.
Re: Round-by-Round: Katie Taylor vs. Miriam Gutierrez - 14 November 2020
Bet 365 now have Cullen way ahead.
Docherty wobbled in the 8th. All that pre-fight talk has aged badly.
