before he fought Mercer.
did you see the fighters who Morrison fought after Rocky V was filmed and before November 1991?
not exactly a learning experience.
Actually, it was Damiani's belt already; he'd won it versus Johnny Duplooy.

I heard the Foreman fight was probably fixed as he was handled by Big George himself...wonder how true or false that rumor is...

I seem to remember seeing a news report on TV were Donnie Bonaduche got into a fight on Sunset Strip or soewhere
with a hooker who he thought was a woman, but actually turned out to be a man.
That and Eddie Murphy giving friendly car rides to a female-looking male hooker too!

Never heard of such. Anyway, this type of rumors often appear from nowhere.

I know George wasn't Tommy's handler.

of course I have,tons of.
However Morrison admitted in an interview at one point he was doin' 3 or 4 women a day.
seems at that rate your judgement in wanting to check for sure if it s a woman could get somewhat lax.

If you are THAT drunk, you probably shouldn't be looking to hook up.

You don't have to check, right there is either a scrotum or vagina.

I watched the ESPN 30 for 30 on Tommy Morrison earlier and one of his friends mentioned that Tommy used to inject a stimulant into his penis before sex and he believed that this was probably the cause of him contracting HIV as it created an open wound before unprotected sex.

Did Tommy's friend have aids-related dementia when he claimed this?

Yes and no. Morrison's management used the move to promote himself. So from that perspective it helped him. To make money in boxing, you need to be famous.

The other side of the coin it is cost him focus. Morrison's biggest problem was always himself. He was a magnet for drugs, and women and the Hollywood lifestyle cost him. The AIDS took a lot out of him and wasn't always big on training.

A flawed man and boxer, he had some world class abilities and was in many good fights. His other problem was his birthday. He fought in a time when Bowe, Tyson, Holyfield, Foreman, and Lewis were at the top.

Although I'd make him an underdog vs. Fury or Joshua, he sure could have sparked either.

Well, he won Foreman without much problems. However, Foreman wasn't an A-tier of the 90s. There were those four.

Jinxed by Rocky 5? No.

But the money he made from Rocky 5 probably did cause him to party and live it up a little more than a Pro Athlete should.

That's always such a lame ass excuse when guys say that.

True. As if they are only outmoved. In fact in cases like Morrison-Foreman they also get outscored, so "running" sounds only like an excuse there.
