Like Brillo says it’s not always the massive muscles that mean PEDs

Back in the day ex world record holder Tim Montgomery and infamous Justin Gatlin both got busted and they both looked - relatively speaking - soft and small.

So what we are saying here ... by no means does boxing have the worst culprits?

Could it be that Christie and Lewis were achieving that clean but without the PEDS Johnson would have been miles behind.

By the way, the MMA guy I mentioned earlier also said that years later he now has all sorts of health issues because of the steroids.
I’m pretty sure Christie and Lewis were both known to be on PEDs too.
I think Robson Da Silva is the only sprinter from the Seoul 100m final who's career wasn't tainted by ped drug issues , he said he'd rather be clean and lose.

Da Silva and Calvin Smith I believe. I’m a big athletics fan especially 100m. If you ask me who the last legitimate 100m World record holder was I say Calvin Smith. I just can’t be 100% sure on any of the modern sprinters.

Within boxing when Haye and Usyk went up and had huge breaks, that for me was a big question mark. They weren’t licence holders or World champions during that time so won’t have had to worry about getting tested (unless I’ve missed something.)

Some of these boxers who have time off and suddenly at the end of the time off it’s announced as an injury and they come back with no scars where you’d have a scar for a shoulder operation etc.

I’ve had private message convos with people on here saying boxer x is displaying a huge side effect of steroid use and within a year that boxer tested positive. And still people on here suggest that the failed test isn’t legitimate somehow.

In terms of how bad I think boxing is for PEDs I say not as bad as MMA, but up there with the worst sports for it.

but this is thing how does he know hes clean more than likey he will have a supplement dietitian coach sorting that out, but who is paying him and the better he does big sponsors more money for eveyone no one really knows what there taking , i use creatine and it works say you lift a bench press say for 10 with out creatine go you hit 10 7 6 4 if its a decent weight 75 percent 1rm , on creatine 10 8 7 6 and thats legal

James Wilson .. whilst I agree with pretty much all you are saying . The Usyk comment I am not sure about .. he barely put on any size .. a couple of KG Max.
He was 96kg vs Joyce in 2013 and 98kg vs Chisora 7 years later !!

Calvin Smith ! That’s a blast from the past !

If you ever want to read about the kind of impact a cycle can have on athletic performance ( especially on females ) then read the paper by Werner W. Franke1 and Brigitte Berendonk

Will PM you the URL

I’ll make the obvious point I’m no point of authority at all don’t think I’m saying these people are definitely at it just because I have a suspicion. As it is I don’t think David Haye put a hell of a lot of weight on, as a heavyweight to start off with he weighed around 210-215. Surely that was him before cutting weight as a cruiser weight. But some of the gym photos I just looked at and thought hmmmm if this guy were foreign there would be more people piping up.

AJ is an obvious one to throw barbs at. I also remember when Oscar Rivas got on the scales for his fight with Whyte I immediately thought he looked unnatural.

I guess we can all agree Shannon Briggs must have been on gear his entire career?

Another one I’ll go off on here is women’s combat sport. The side effects here are as plain as day, you start to look masculine and most obviously the jaw grows.

One woman who’s not the most obvious mma star to attack is Megan Anderson, the Aussie. She’s next in line to fight Amanda Nunes.

Cyborg and a few others look sure as day on gear but Anderson always has people in the comments throw PED abuse at her and she brushes it off but she posted a photo of herself from 5 years ago and you could see the huge difference in her jawline.

The Spaniard that Katie Taylor recently fought was similar. Very clear indicator of PED use in a female athlete in my opinion.

No, Jimmy is an old friend of ours who likes to change his name every so often - always a good poster :TU: Spud is Spud - they know each other I think but they're not the same person.

Everybody uses PEDs, not everybody will get caught. Canelo haters use PED cause to hate him even more. Boxing has far bigger problems than PEDs

I don't give a damn about PEDs, cause everyone is on them. I'm 100% convinced with that. Being caught is more about boxing politics. I've said it multiple times and only something really convincing can make me change my mind, I don't even know what. So, leave this subject alone and let them juice up, beat the hell out of each other and entertain us all!

These PED threads just show you who has actually trained in boxing gyms and who hasn't. I suppose quite a lot of posters here have not actually boxed. If you had been in boxing gyms and mingled with fighters you'd know that they are mostly all on PEDs.

When I saw Canelo v Smith was made ... If I was honest even if I didnt hold Callum Smith in high regard, I would still desperately want him to win because of Canelo’s failed tests in the past.

Obvious question ... if a fighter is caught dabbling with dodgy substances should he be banned for life?

Another question for you ... are people like me wrong holding grudges against fighters who have served bans?

Do you feel the PEDs problem is that bad in boxing ... the authorities will never get a grip of the problem?

Feel free to discuss
If anyone gets caught taking a peds then they should be banned for life i dont care if its canelo mayweather pacman fury anyone, they are cheating to gained an advantage in a sport where somone can get killed at their hands,a lifetime ban is not enough for ped takers.
The names I mentioned are just an example,im not saying they all use peds im just saying no matter how big the name is they deserve to be charged lawfully too.
