Benn will be kept away from anyone half decent with power. Formella couldn’t put latex down

Disappointed that Adam Smith didn't apologise to viewers for that burp.

Did Formella go the distance with Shawn Porter? It’s just that the commentary team haven’t mentioned it :o

The rounds are closer now - 7th about even - but Formella's not taking over in the second half of the fight as advertised.

Hard fcuker Formella but his lack of power is clear, Benn has improved to be fair to him but still feel as though he is open defensively and a bit more of a banger will exploit it in the future.

78 - 74 Benn - Formella after the 8th. Basti is still in there with heart.

I reckon if Formella butted elbowed and shouldered Benn he’d have a point taken off. I’m all for it not being a tickling contest but some of these fouls have ‘I know the ref ain’t doing f uck all’ written all over them.

Possibly a factor, never thought of that, but Benn is exceeding expectations I have to admit he's slippery and clever out there tonight.

Benn has put on a good display, knowing from pretty early on Formella doesn't really have much pop in his shots.
Onto bigger things for Benn, be interesting to see how far he can go.

Doesn't really feel like the main event does it, probably should be another 2-3 fights. just like it was orginally planned.

Good win by Conor Benn, he is almost there in all sense. 98 - 92. Great heart and chin by Formella.

I had Benn up 7 rounds to 3. He's improved but he doesn't have the power the commentators are trying to sell us. Formella wasn't too impressive, he had glimpses but he has so little power.

Benn looked sharp, wide points winner. He looked better than he did in the past too.
